Fast technology reported on December 3 that the Chengzhen section of the Sichuan-Qingdao Railway (Chengdu, Sichuan to Xining, Qinghai) (Chengdu East to Zhenjiang Pass) has been officially opened for operation on November 28, and the Qingbai River East to Zhenjiang Pass section has attracted much attention, because it is not so much a high-speed rail as a "super subway".
The Sichuan-Qingdao Railway Qingbai Jiangdong to Zhenjiangguan section is 206 kilometers long, with a design speed of 200 kilometers per hour, and the construction started in March 2011, and it took nearly 13 years to complete and open to traffic, which is more difficult than imagined.
The line starts from the Qingbai River in the Chengdu Plain at an altitude of 500 meters, crosses the active fault zone of Longmen Mountain, enters Maoxian, and then parallels the active fault zone of the Minjiang River, climbs all the way into Songpan County, and reaches Zhenjiang Pass at an altitude of more than 2,500 meters.
From the Chengdu Plain to the West Sichuan Plateau, it is necessary to cross the Hengduan Mountains, which is the longest, widest and most typical north-south mountain group in China, passing through plateaus, basins, mountains, river valleys and more than 10 large fault zones, passing through 4 national nature reserves, 1 provincial and 2 county-level nature reserves.
Especially in the approximately 134 kilometers from Anzhou to Zhenjiangguan, the tunnel accounts for 95 of the total length5. Almost all the way through the tunnel.
Among them, the Yuelongmen Tunnel, which lasted 10 years to build, was one of the most difficult cross-ridge tunnels for the railway under construction in China at that time, overcoming more than 10 kinds of bad geology, and was called "the tunnel in the middle of tofu slag".
Ping'an Tunnel is not only the longest tunnel in the whole line, but also the first long tunnel that has been broken through in southwest China, with a single line length of 28 kilometers and a double line total length of 56 kilometers, spanning the nature reserve, and is the growth place of rare animals and plants such as giant pandas, Sichuan golden snub-nosed monkeys, yews, etc.
Maoxian Tunnel, with a total length of 9,913 meters, crosses the active fault zone of Longmen Mountain, the rock mass is soft, and aftershocks are frequent, of which 500 meters are divided into 34 "vertebral" short joints during construction, so as to have the ability to adapt to dislocation and rotation.
The Sichuan-Qingdao Railway Shifang West to Zhenjiang Pass section is built on the first belt, for which there are 16 first meters to form a high-speed rail first warning system.

As a railway operating in high-altitude areas, the Sichuan-Qingdao Railway is also equipped with CRH2G alpine EMUs for the first time, which can operate normally in extreme climates from minus 40 to minus 40.
