The anime series attracts the audience through the twists and turns of the storyline, guides the audience's anticipation of the plot, and stimulates more interest. Although many anime end with a happy ending where justice triumphs over **, this is not always the case, as some anime have a scary and unexpected ending.
Some may be lighthearted at first, but get brutal as the plot draws to a close. Even though the endings of these anime are special and may leave viewers nervous and uncertain, they tell great stories.

A secret **plan to take a group of gifted children as **, to carry out cruel and immoral experiments on them. The program was eventually destroyed along with the subjects, with only Nine, Eleven, and Five being brought to the American organization. Horror Remnant is an anime series that depicts the journey of Nine and Eleven as a terrorist duo whose motivation is to expose the organization that stole their childhood.
In the process of exposing the secret organization, they planted bombs to raise awareness of corruption. The boys have compassion for innocent civilians and try not to harm them. Despite living such a cruel and unfortunate life, people hope that justice will be done and that they will finally be redeemed, but instead, after twelve were killed by the United States, nine died of drugs
2, "April is Your Lie", my***list score: 865, Release date: 2014
The film is a story about **, loss, friendship and love, and is a captivating anime series, not only because of **, but also because of the storyline. The 14-year-old piano genius Arima Kosei, at the cost of his mother's emotional oppression and physical abuse, showed extraordinary talent. After the death of his mother, Arima was traumatized and unable to play the piano. He meets Kaoru, a violinist with a temperamental personality, who becomes his support and motivation to get him back on his way to a healthier life.
Kaoru's appearance rekindles hope for a life that he can finally get, and he begins to play the piano again. The two characters develop a friendship and gradually develop into love. Just when everything starts to get better, Kaoru is diagnosed with a terminal illness. Kaoru couldn't confess her feelings and eventually died, leaving behind a heartbroken Arima and a future full of hope.
3, "I want to eat your pancreas", my***list score: 855, Release date: 2018
Haruki is a high school student who has no desire for friendship and is out of step with his surroundings. When he stumbles upon a girl's diary, a vibrant but ill-fated friendship begins. Sakurako is a dynamic character who has a longing for life because of a terminal illness that limits her life. Despite the difficulties in their friendship due to personality conflicts, the two characters become partners.
Haruki is the only person in the school who knows about her condition, and as the two grow closer, Haruki accompanies Sakurako on her adventures. When Sakurako is hospitalized due to illness, she plans to visit Haruki after she is discharged from the hospital. However, Sakurako does not show up, and she is stabbed to death by a stranger. It makes one wonder about the transience of life and the brutal twists that surround Sakurako's misfortune.
4, "Cyberpunk: Edge Walker", my***list score: 860, release date 2022
In a technologically advanced city, where the value of life is measured by contribution, David Martinez and his mother became the discriminated against category when his mother was seriously injured in a motor vehicle accident. When his mother died, David realized the unfairness of their world, leaving him struggling with the loss of his mother and new web software modifications.
He joins a group of "fringe walkers" who give him a sense of belonging and hope despite the fast-paced and dangerous life they bring him. When his friends die one after another, David's life with new friends and lovers begins to unravel. Despite David's efforts to survive, he is eventually killed, and the ending seals off the protagonist's fate and deprives him of hope for a better life.

Akira is a kind-hearted and empathetic boy who, despite his different personalities, becomes friends with the cold and withdrawn Ryo. When Liang tells the demon that he has a human body, the former is able to convince him to share his body with the demon, which is the only way to fight the demon and protect the human.
Although Liang's ultimate plan is to destroy humanity, he has a deep affection for Ming because he protected him in the first place. When Ming learns that Liang's true identity is Satan, they go their separate ways. While trying to protect humanity from chaos and disaster, a fight ensues between Akira and Ryo, the latter kills the former, and the protagonist proves to be a warrior incapable of fighting demons.

An immortal book that previously belonged to the Grim Reaper is now held by the night god Moon. When a person's name is written in this book, they die according to the author's wishes. In the Death Note animated series, Night God Moon develops a god complex that anonymously assigns death to criminals.
Night God Moon is able to protect her identity and maintain her merits while pretending to be a detective. When his loyal subordinate, Matsuda, discovers that he is a killer who has been deceiving the entire police force, angry men shoot him. His selfish actions protected his identity and unfairly sacrificed his life.
