Today, we will continue to focus on the five major families in the Kokang area, and pay special attention to the major crimes committed by the "Ming family" to kill our people's police and compatriots. The head of the Ming family, who is also rooted in the old department of Peng Jiasheng, died tragically on November 15, 2023. He has served as the Governor of Kokang District, a member of the Shan State Assembly of Myanmar, and a member of the Kokang Autonomous Region Leadership Committee. Until the 2009 Kokang military conflict, Peng Jiasheng failed, and Ming Xuechang chose to betray and collude with the Myanmar Army** to become one of the leaders of Kokang.

Ming Xuechang founded the "Sun and Moon Group", making his family an emerging force outside of the other four major families. Together with the other four, it is known as the "Five Families", and the Wohu Villa Electric Fraud Park run by his family has become one of the symbols of electric fraud in northern Myanmar. His eldest son, Ming Guoan, served as the chairman of the Sun Moon Group and was in charge of the Kokang Police Force, serving as the commander of the 21st Battalion, which is regarded as one of the three major armed forces in Kokang in addition to the Myanmar ** Army.

The second son, Ming Guoping (who has been captured by us), served as a squadron leader in the militia squadron of Shiyuanzi Township, Kokang, and actually controlled the 21st Battalion of the Kokang Police Force after his brother Ming Guoan was paralyzed by a fall from his horse, and was in charge of the Shiyuanzi Electric Fraud Park. The husband of the eldest daughter Ming Julan (who has been captured by us) is Bi Huijun, while Ming Julan holds the household registration and ID card of Zhenkang County, Lincang City, Yunnan Province. Ming Zhenzhen of the Ming family (who has been captured by us) serves as the president of the Kokang Charity Association, and also holds the household registration and ID card of Gengma Dai Wa Autonomous County, Lincang City, Yunnan Province. She is in charge of the Kokang Police Force with Ming Guoping.

It can be clearly seen that the origins of these fraud groups almost all originate from Peng Jiasheng's old department. The beginning and end of their roots in Kokang can be traced back to the "88 Incident" in 2009, when Myanmar** entered the Kokang Special Administrative Region to search for a gun repair factory on the grounds of illegal drug manufacturing in order to regain control of the Kokang region, which was rejected by the Kokang defenders, triggering a standoff between the two sides. Subsequently, a refugee influx erupted in Kokang, and tens of thousands of civilians fled to China. With the coordination of all parties, the situation was de-escalated.

However, the outbreak of this conflict has left Kokang in deep trouble. The Kokang Special Administrative Region (SAR**) announced that the Myanmar** army had begun to withdraw from Kokang, and the situation eased slightly. However, Myanmar** issued an arrest warrant, accusing Peng Jiasheng of illegally opening a firearms repair factory, and wanted Peng Jiasheng and other related personnel. Peng Jiasheng then led his troops to attack the Burmese army, which led to fierce clashes.

As a result, the Kokang region was plunged into turmoil, and the Kokang Regional Interim Management Council was established to replace the original special zone**. Bai Socheng became the chairman of the Kokang Interim Management Committee and said that he would obey the order of the Burmese army**.

The five major families are now firmly established in Koda, on the one hand, driving out the old leaders, and on the other hand, showing goodwill to Myanmar**. However, almost all of the annual profits of these families come from the blood and tears of our people.
