The term "green tea" is circulating on the Internet, and it seems that as soon as this word is mentioned, what immediately comes to people's minds is the ** woman who is "full of amorous feelings".

She is perhaps best known for the poem: "You are the blossom of a tree, and the swallow is murmuring among the beams." You are love, warmth, hope, you are the April day of the world. Lin Huiyin, her story begins in her early years. In the early summer of 1904, the West Lake in Hangzhou was weaving. On this day, the Lin family added a daughter, and the father, Lin Changmin, happily picked up the baby, his eyes full of joy.

This daughter was named "Huiyin" (taken from the Book of Songs, Daya, Siqi), which means beautiful praise. However, Lin Huiyin's childhood was not as carefree as that of his peers. My father was a man of great learning and great respect. 's mother was born in a business family, she didn't know anything about literature and poetry, and she was not good at running a family, which led to a discordant marriage between the two. 's father later remarried, which made Lin Huiyin's mother even more neglected.

Despite the special pampering of his father, the shadow of childhood gradually took on some sunshine. Lin Changmin once wrote in a letter: "Hui'er knows that I am very happy to get your two letters. My son is good at reading, tame and good, and knows reason, and I love you very much. Growing up under the education of her aunt, she has a gentle personality, but she is extremely strict with girls, and has become an important part of Lin Huiyin's character formation. By the age of six, Lin Huiyin had already shown his ingenuity and was able to ghostwrite letters to his grandfather in a foreign country.

Among the sisters, she was highly praised by her eldest aunt. Lin Huiyin and Liang Sicheng first met when she was 14 years old, and the two got acquainted because of the marriage between Liang Qichao and Lin Changmin. A young girl, a graceful young man, they never imagined at that time that this encounter would become their lifelong bond. In April 1920, Lin Huiyin traveled to Europe with his father, and was influenced by British female architects, and had the ambition to study Xi architecture.

During this period, she met her father's ** Xu Zhimo and became interested in poetry collections. However, we will put aside the past of Xu Zhimo and Lin Huiyin. In mid-1924, Lin Huiyin and Liang Sicheng went to the University of Pennsylvania to study architecture together. Because the Department of Architecture at the University of Pennsylvania did not accept female students at that time, Lin Huiyin had to study Xi in the Department of Fine Arts, and became a teaching assistant in the Department of Fine Arts half a year later because of his academic excellence, so he had the opportunity to audit the architecture course. However, the peaceful life of the two was shattered in 1926 by a letter from across the ocean, and Lin Changmin was involved in the internal war of the warlords in the northeast and unfortunately died.

Liang Qichao wrote in the letter: "Today's terrible news came out of the newspaper, I can't bear to tell you, and I can't help but tell you, you have to be calm. Don't hurt your body because of the stimulation. Hui suffered this tragedy, the only partner, the only comfort, is only on you. In the midst of grief, Liang Sicheng has been comforting Lin Huiyin and persuading her to study hard and not have to return to China for funeral.

In the early spring of 1928, the two were married at the Chinese Consulate in Canada, without the presence of their parents. After getting married, the two went to Europe for their honeymoon and returned to China in mid-August. After returning to China, they were invited by Northeastern University to co-establish the first architecture department in Chinese history. Liang Sicheng has made a lot of achievements in his life, and his praise can be described in the words of Huang Zunxian: "Thrilling, a thousand words, no one writes, but everyone wants to own, although iron and stone people should also be moved."

Next, let's briefly talk about the past of Lin Huiyin and Xu Zhimo. At that time, Xu Zhimo was already married and met 16-year-old Lin Huiyin in the UK. Xu Zhimo is deeply immersed in her longing, which is reflected in his poems. Not long after, Lin Huiyin returned to China with his father, which made Xu Zhimo's thoughts about her even stronger. In his letter, he wrote: "I will visit my only soul mate in the vast sea of people, and I will be fortunate to receive it, but not to my life." But the ending of Xu Zhimo and Lin Huiyin, if you still have doubts, you can continue to look down - Tagore learned the story of the two, and gave Lin Huiyin a poem during a chance meeting: "The blue of the sky, falling in love with the green of the earth, the breeze between them sighed alas."

Above, this perfect lady is far away from ordinary emotional entanglements. As posterity, we should pay more attention to her many achievements: designing the national emblem pattern, participating in the construction of the Babaoshan Revolutionary Cemetery in Beijing, and designing the emblems of Jilin West Railway Station and Northeastern University.

Her architectural works include "History of Chinese Architecture", etc., and she has also made outstanding contributions to the protection of ancient buildings. In addition, her literary creations have left a rich wealth for future generations. The woman died at the age of 51 and is buried in the Babaoshan Revolutionary Cemetery in Beijing. However, the legacy she left behind should be remembered by our generation.
