Tariff Commission Announcement No. 8 of 2023
In accordance with the Announcement of the Customs Tariff Commission on Granting Zero-tariff Treatment to 98% of Products with Tariff Items in Least Developed Countries (Announcement No. 8 of 2021 of the Tariff Commission), according to the provisions of the exchange of notes between China and relevant countries, sinceFrom 25 December 2023, on the origin ofImports of 98 per cent of tariff lines from six least developed countries, namely the Republic of Angola, the Republic of the Gambia, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, the Republic of Madagascar, the Republic of Mali and the Islamic Republic of MauritaniaPreferential tax rate with zero tax rate applied。Among them, 98% of the tariff items include 8,420 tax items marked as "beneficiary country LD", 193 tax items of "beneficiary country 1LD1" and 191 tax items of "beneficiary country 2LD2" in the preferential tax rate column of the Import and Export Tariff of the People's Republic of China (2023) (Announcement No. 12 of the Tax Commission of 2022), a total of 8,804 tax items.
