The cottage is set up for children under the age of 3 and is organically integrated with the kindergarten, so that children under the age of 3 can adapt to the kindergarten environment in advance. Yu Ping, director of Zhanmao Center Kindergarten, introduced that the cottage was opened in March this year, and is the second provincial-level "sunflower parent-child cottage" established in our district, and there are currently 7 teachers to carry out teaching activities, according to the personalized differences of infants and toddlers to launch "one-to-one" services, and to carry out online and offline parenting guidance for parents from time to time.
"Sunflower Parent-Child Cottage" is part of the "Sunflower Parent-Child Program" implemented in our district, with the aim of creating an exclusive service position for the majority of infant and toddler families, and a total of 21 activities have been carried out, benefiting 134 infant families. This is also a microcosm of the construction of a diversified and inclusive infant care system in our district.
In recent years, our district has actively mobilized social forces to participate in the needs of multiple children, focused on reducing the cost of parenting, and gradually built a diversified and inclusive infant care system to reduce the burden on child-rearing families and help infants and young children grow up healthily and happily.
This year, our district has made continuous efforts in childcare services, and Malt Bilingual Childcare has taken the lead in launching evening childcare services with optional time periods in the city to better meet the needs of dual-income familiesTwo "Baby House" public welfare temporary childcare institutions and three "Sunflower Parent-Child Cottages" have been built in the business district to further optimize the growth environment for infants and young childrenThe city took the lead in setting up a "medical and education" guidance center, explored the contract model of family doctors for infants and young children, and included priority services for vaccination, caries risk testing services, appropriate technical services for traditional Chinese medicine, and nutritional and complementary food guidance services into the scope of "service packages" to ensure the health of infants and young children in an all-round way.
We have also set up a technical guidance group for infant care for children aged 0 to 3, innovatively opened a 'la carte' parent classroom, invited provincial and municipal early childhood education experts and professional teachers with teacher certificates and medical care certificates, and regularly carried out free activities such as infant care guidance classes and parenting guidance, so far, a total of nearly 150 services have been carried out, benefiting more than 1,400 infant and toddler families. According to the relevant person in charge of the District Health Bureau, this year, the childcare industry in the district has made diversified explorations in further optimizing the supply of services to meet the diversified childcare needs of the district and continue to boost the willingness of social families to take care of childcare.
It is understood that at present, our district is still studying and formulating a work plan for infant care services in the next three years, focusing on building a comprehensive childcare service center as the main body, public childcare institutions, public private childcare institutions, kindergarten childcare departments, and employer childcare institutions as the focus, and "medical protection" children's health management guidance center, community infant and toddler family care station, business district "baby house", "sunflower parent-child house" and other "1+4+x" diversified childcare service system as supplements.
