From history to the present, Japan has always been a treacherous and aggressive island nation.
Despite the fact that Japan has a small territory and a small population, it has never broken its covetous heart for the Chinese state, which is rich in products and has a large population, and has never broken off its covetousness of fighting big with small and swallowing elephants with snakes.
At the end of World War II, Japan did not give up its aggressive ambitions when it was dying, and even conscripted those children who had not yet grown up to fight in China. On the battlefield, these children became cannon fodder for the invasion of China, and became the enemies of the anti-Japanese army and the people. In order to avenge his loved ones, a red-eyed soldier of the Eighth Route Army in the Luzhong Military Region stabbed a Japanese recruit who knelt on the ground and begged for mercy in a battle on September 4, 1944.
Why did Japan conscript these children to die on the battlefields in China?Because at that time, Japan had gone crazy all over the country, and it was still unable to measure its own strength and be unfortunate, trying to use the conquest of China as a springboard, and then join forces with Hitler to dominate the world in the East and the West.
The Japanese army organized shooting training for new recruits, many of whom were student soldiers
After Japan launched a full-scale war of aggression against China, the repeated fall of the country's territory also made Tojo Hideki expand to a certain extent, trying to open up the Pacific theater, expel the British and American forces in Southeast Asia, and then move westward to join the German army in the Indian Ocean and even the Atlantic. In the face of repeated defeats on the frontal battlefield, Chiang's anti-Japanese strategy was to strategically hold on to each other and wait for changes, and its important purpose was to pull the United States down and fight with Japan. As long as the United States and Japan start fighting, the contradiction between Japan's troop tension, dispersion of troop strength, and depletion of troop resources will soon appear. If such a situation arises, Japan will face a certain defeat.
On December 7, 1941, Japan's ambitions swelled and attacked Pearl Harbor in the United States. As Japan's troops became more and more scarce and the third-front operations were overstretched, it had to recruit a large number of underage children from the mainland to serve as cannon fodder.
You must know that those students who are hastily recruited while they are going to school have no practical effect, even if they are bewitched by the so-called "bushido". Faced with the tragic scene of chest piercing and blood flowing out, these little devils were terrified. Some little devils were even so frightened that they gave up resistance and knelt on the ground to beg for mercy. Such a scene arose in 1944 during a battle launched by the Luzhong Military Region.
At that time, the Japanese army was defeated by the frog jumping tactics of the US army in the Pacific theater, and had to draw troops from the Chinese battlefield to the south for reinforcements. In the Battle of Yuxianggui, which was frontally defended by Chiang's army, the Japanese army was like a bamboo, and quickly opened a passage to the south to reinforce the Pacific theater. The rout of Chiang's army along the way also fueled the arrogance of the Japanese army on the Chinese battlefield, and even though their end was near, they were still dying, launching a frantic sweep against our anti-Japanese base areas.
At the beginning of September 1944, the 59th Division of the Japanese Army and the 3rd Front Army of the Puppet Army swept the coastal area of Shandong Province in China, trying to retreat to Boshan and Linqu through Yishui City. After reconnaissance by our army, this sweeping force totaled more than 1,200 people, including 450 people from the Kusanoqing Brigade of the 59th Division of the Japanese Army, more than 500 people from Hao Quanren's Department of the 179th Regiment of the puppet army, and more than 250 puppet policemen.
Upon learning of this news, Wang Jian'an, commander of the Luzhong Military Region, ordered Sun Jixian, commander of the 3rd Army Division, and Huo Shilian, political commissar of the 3rd Army, to immediately end the rest and recuperation of the troops, set up an ambush on the road they must pass, and be sure to eliminate them and avenge the villagers in Luzhong.
As early as the beginning of August, after Yishui City was recovered by the Luzhong Military Region, it was frantically swept by the Kusanoqing Brigade. This Japanese army was very arrogant, and there was no one in sight to go deep into our Luzhong base area, killing a large number of innocent civilians along the way, and the corpses were all over the place, which was unbearable to see.
In order to eliminate this arrogant Japanese army, Wang Jian'an decided to set up an ambush in Gezhuang, more than 30 miles northwest of Yishui City.
Gezhuang is bordered by Bian Mountain in the north, Qiao Mountain in the west, and Linyi River in the south, and is very suitable for mountain ambushes from the topography.
At 11 o'clock on September 4, the Japanese puppet army, which was preparing to withdraw from Yishui City to Boshan and Linqu, swaggered into the pocket formation of our army.
After sweeping and looting all the way, these Japanese puppet troops can be said to have "returned with a full load", they drove the stolen cattle and sheep, carried the stolen chickens and ducks on their bayonets, and pulled the overturned grain with carts, and walked happily. By 2 p.m., the unsuspecting Japanese puppet army entered the ambush circle of our army.
The Luzhong 1st Regiment east of Gezhuang, the Luzhong 2nd Regiment west of Gezhuang and the 12th Regiment north of Gezhuang were almost at the same time, and the Japanese puppet army was caught off guard and fell.
Frightened, the Japanese army erected artillery mounts and bombarded the commanding heights of the battlefield. There was no concealment at this commanding height, and our troops did not arrange troops to defend it in advance when they set up an ambush, but were only prepared to send troops to seize the place when the enemy planned to seize it, so as to avoid the Japanese artillery fire.
As soon as the Japanese artillery fire stopped, the 1st Battalion and 2nd Company of the 1st Regiment of Luzhong rushed to climb the Pier Ridge first, and at this time, some Japanese troops were about to ascend the Ridge. The soldiers of the 2nd Company, who had no time to fortify, all got on their bayonets and rushed towards the Japanese troops condescendingly.
In this sudden hand-to-hand encounter, there was no crackling gunshots, only screams after the knife was red and the stomach was disemboweled. The recruits in the Japanese army, ** have seen such a tragic battle? One by one, they were so frightened that they retreated again and again, and the Japanese squadron leaders who were supervising the battle behind screamed as hard as they could, and their desperate attempts to obstruct it were useless.
Under the fierce pursuit of the 2nd Company, the Japanese recruits who had no time to run away did not resist in order to survive, and directly raised their guns over their heads and knelt on the ground to beg for mercy. Thinking of these little devils killing the villagers in Luzhong and killing the red-eyed soldiers, a wave of revenge and anger surged into his heart, roared angrily, picked up the bloody bayonet, and stabbed it with "poof, poof".
After the failure of the first wave to seize the Ridge, Kusano Kiyoshi Shozo personally supervised the battle and ordered the Japanese troops of 2 squadrons to continue to charge towards the Ridge. The 2nd Company held on to the ridge and did not give an inch, and the two sides were still fighting in a white-knuckle battle.
In order to embolden the recruits who had just been recruited, the old devil rushed to the forefront. When the brave wins on the narrow road, a hedge down, the old devil at the front was disemboweled, and he covered his chest or howled on the ground, frightening the Japanese recruits behind him to turn around and run down the mountain, so angry that Kusanoqing kept swinging his knife and slashing those useless recruits, but it was useless.
In order to support the 2nd Company in defending the Piercing Ridge, the 3rd Company of the 1st Regiment in Luzhong transferred a squad of troops, rushed into the enemy group under the leadership of Deputy Platoon Commander Hou Yingjun, and assassinated 3 Japanese soldiers one after another.
Seeing this, Ken Okada, the leader of the 5th Squadron of the Japanese Army, personally brandished his command knife and slashed at him. Hou Yingjun struggled to block the blade, and then a lunge stabbedStabbed straight at Ken Okada from the frontof the chest, after the piercingHe pulled it out again and stabbed him in the stomach, and his intestines flowed out along with the blood. Seeing Hou Yingjun so fierce, the Japanese recruits around him were frightened and stupid, and they scattered and fled as if they were dead. After the war, Hou Yingjun was LuzhongThe regiment was exceptionally promoted to company commander.
The battle went on until the evening, and Caoye Qing, who had not been able to take the Haotou Ridge, had to lead his troops to shrink at a Niangniang temple west of Gezhuang. This was once the garrison of the Japanese army, and at the beginning of the battle of Gezhuang, a puppet army was ordered to occupy the temple, and 2 Type 92 heavy machine guns and 6 crooked light machine guns were deployed here.
Due to the lack of heavy ** in our army, it would be too great to attack it. Sun Jixian decided to implement "tired enemy tactics" against the Japanese puppet army in this turtle shrinking temple, and tried to force them out of the Niangniang Temple.
In the evening, our army sent small units to carry out "harassment warfare" in turn, which made the Japanese puppet army nervous all night and did not dare to close their eyes. At 16 o'clock in the afternoon of September 5, Kusano Qing could not bear this kind of day and night attack of our army, and ordered the Japanese puppet army to break out.
This is exactly what our army wants. On the way to escape, our army had already arranged a number of ambush points, intercepting them layer by layer, flanking them back and forth, and constantly destroying their living forces. The turbulent Yihe River has become the ghost gate of the Japanese puppet army. A large number of corpses and belongings of the Japanese puppet army were washed downstream by the river.
After this battle, our army annihilated the main force of the Japanese Kusano Kiyoshi Brigade, killed more than 300 people, including the leader of the 1st Squadron of the Japanese Army, Nagano Hirao, and the leader of the 5th Squadron, Ken Okada, and captured 31 Japanese soldiers.
In this battle, Kusano Qing was instigated, and he no longer dared to take hundreds of Japanese troops to go deep into the Luzhong base area alone, and he did not dare to sweep around, burn, kill, and plunder.
