1. The school was rated as "Beijing Landscaping Science Base (2024-2026)".
In 2020, after declaration, on-site reporting and expert review, the school was rated as the "2021-2023 Beijing Landscaping Science Base". In the past three years, the school has actively completed the project of "Beijing Garden School Science Base Signage Production" and participated in the science exchange activities organized by the Municipal BureauWe have deepened the popular science brand of "Plants in Primary and Secondary School Textbooks", developed a series of popular science courses, and innovated the form of popular science. More than 60 offline popular science activities have been held, with more than 4,600 participants, and more than 40 online activities have been held, with more than 20,000 participants. According to the relevant requirements of Beijing's landscaping science popularization work, after assessment and evaluation in 2023, Beijing Landscape School will become the "2024-2026 Beijing Landscaping Science Popularization Base".
2. Teachers and students won good results in the Science Popularization Competition of the Municipal Park Management Center.
In order to fully implement the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, implement the spirit of the important instructions of the "14th Five-Year Plan for Cultural and Tourism Science and Technology Innovation" and the "Outline of the Action Plan for Scientific Literacy for All (2021-2035)", adhere to the implementation of the innovation-driven development strategy, and build an open platform for popular science and cultural creativity, the Municipal Park Management Center held the "2023 Popular Science Creation and Design Competition". The competition is divided into two tracks: popular science poster design and popular science course design. The school submitted a total of 8 popular science poster design works and 3 popular science course design works to teachers and students. After the preliminary and final competitions, the popular science course design work "Walking Water (Water Capillary Phenomenon)" by teachers Zhang Hong and Yao Jie won the Excellence Award of the Center's 2023 Popular Science Curriculum Design CompetitionChen Yunuo, a student from Class 22-2, won the second prize in the center's 2023 popular science poster design competition.

3. The project "Exploration and Practice of Online and Offline Blended Course Construction of Beijing History and Culture" successfully passed the acceptance.
With the strong support and guidance of the Science and Technology Department of the Municipal Park Management Center, the school organized an online acceptance meeting on the topic of "Exploration and Practice of Online and Offline Blended Course Construction of Beijing History and Culture" on December 13 with Tencent Meeting as a platform. With the unanimous consent of the experts, it successfully passed the acceptance. The project takes the course of "Beijing History and Culture" as the research object, integrates the new requirements of Beijing's urban development planning and the new achievements of Beijing's history and culture research, and forms the course content and structure with Beijing's characteristics, the characteristics of the times, the characteristics of informatization, and the characteristics of the industry, which reflects the depth, breadth and cultural connotation of Beijing's historical and cultural development, and is of great significance for understanding the development history of Beijing, the capital, and enhancing cultural self-confidence.
