Huasheng**, December 19 (correspondent Liu Haihong, Zhou Yangli) Recently, Hunan Automobile Engineering Vocational College (hereinafter referred to as Hunan Automobile Vocational College) first overseas "Furong Automobile College" and "International Talent Training Base for Energy-saving and New Energy Vehicle Technology" were inaugurated in Malaysia Sultan Idris University of Education (hereinafter referred to as UPSI), which is also one of the important achievements of Hunan Automobile Vocational College to promote the national "double high plan".
Datuk Seri Wong Zi Wei, Chairman of the University Alliance of Malaysia, Professor and Vice President of UPSI Malaysia MD AMIN BIN MD TAFF, and Zhou Jinzong, member of the Party Committee and Vice President of Huqi Vocational College, attended the unveiling ceremony. Liu Haihong, Deputy Director of the Cooperation and Exchange Center of Huqi Vocational College, Peng Jin, Ph.D. of the School of Vehicle Utilization, and Liu Jian, head of the Central and South Region of the University Alliance of Malaysia and alumnus, participated in the exchange.
It is a great honor for UPSI to visit UPSI by the Association of Universities of Malaysia (hereinafter referred to as CMU). At the unveiling ceremony, MD AMIN BIN MD TAFF delivered a speech. He said that the Huqi Vocational Institute has an outstanding reputation for cooperating with the industry to train skilled automotive workers. UPSI focuses on new energy vehicle research and is the top-ranked education university in Malaysia and 168th in Asia. It is hoped that through this strong cooperation, the two parties can start a good start in the field of internationalization, automotive training and student development, especially in the field of international talent training based on energy-saving and new energy vehicle technology. In the future, UPSI will try its best to provide the needs and assistance of this project in terms of education, language training and international needs.
Subsequently, Zhou Jinzong briefly reviewed the preparation process of the project since 2022. He said that UPSI has a long history of running a school, advanced educational concepts, remarkable achievements in running a school, and has a good international reputation. He pointed out that the establishment of "Seremban Automobile Academy" is a new platform to promote the joint construction, research, sharing and sharing of the two sides in the field of vocational education. In the future, the two universities will take the characteristic major of new energy vehicle intelligent technology as the core, and realize the international development of new energy vehicle intelligent technology and culture through teacher training, student exchanges, international courses and skills competitions. Zhou Jinzong hopes that "Furong Automobile Academy" will not only promote the spirit of Chinese craftsmen and share the experience and programs of Chinese vocational education, but also become a bridge for "China and Malaysia" to carry out cooperation between automobile enterprises, become a new fulcrum for cultivating international talents in intelligent technology of new energy vehicles, and contribute to further promoting the construction and development of the "Belt and Road" countries.
It is reported that on the day of the unveiling ceremony, Huqi Vocational Institute delivered the urgently needed international bilingual teaching materials on new energy vehicle technology such as "Principles and Maintenance of Automotive Electrical Equipment" to UPSI. The next day, the first training of "Seremban Automobile Academy" and "International Talent Training Base for Energy-saving and New Energy Vehicle Technology" was held at Kuala Lumpur Construction University and Universiti Putra Malaysia. As the first lecturer, Peng Jin shared the development and trend of China's new energy intelligent technology with more than 100 teachers and students at the scene.
In addition, the establishment of the "Seremban Automobile Academy" named after Hunan and the "International Talent Training Base for Energy-saving and New Energy Vehicle Technology" have also received strong support from the Ministry of Higher Education of Malaysia and the University Alliance of Malaysia. On the afternoon of December 14, Zhou Jinzong and his entourage exchanged views with the Assistant Minister of Higher Education of Malaysia.
