The Report on the Development of Labor Education in China 2023 was released

People's Daily Online, Beijing, December 26 (Reporter Li Yihuan) The press conference of the "China Labor Education Development Report (2023)" (hereinafter referred to as the "Report") was held at the China Institute of Labor Relations a few days ago. Based on detailed research data, practical practices and typical cases, the report aims to provide a reference for local education administrative departments to grasp the dynamic situation of labor education, provide a reference for school leaders and labor education teachers at all levels to carry out labor education, and provide reference for the academic community and industry to fully understand the vivid practice of labor education in China.

It is reported that since 2021, the China Institute of Labor Relations has led the launch of three annual reports on labor education. This annual report aims to comprehensively present the overall development of labor education in China in 2022, including policy overview, academic research, curriculum construction, textbook construction, practice base, teacher team construction, evaluation standard construction, characteristic practice of labor education in primary and secondary schools, characteristic practice of labor education in vocational colleges, and characteristic practice of labor education in ordinary colleges and universities, and look forward to the future development prospects of labor education based on a rational analysis of the development status.

Liu Xiangbing, Secretary of the Party Committee of the China Institute of Labor Relations, pointed out that the editorial board and the compilation team of this annual report for the first time gathered professional forces from all walks of life such as education administrative departments, scientific research institutes, ordinary colleges and universities, vocational colleges, primary and secondary schools, etc., presented the development status of labor education in a multi-dimensional and all-round way, and outlined the future development prospects of labor education. He said that the China Institute of Labor Relations is willing to give full play to the advantages of team, profession and platform, and work together with everyone to move forward side by side and jointly write a better tomorrow for labor education.

Fang Wei, deputy director of the Student Service and Quality Development Center of the Ministry of Education, said that labor education should follow the ideological, practical and social nature, and it is necessary to pay attention to humanistic education and return labor education to the truthIt should also follow the demand-oriented, problem-oriented, science-oriented and education-oriented, focus on the needs of different students at each stage, and combine labor education with student development guidance and career education, so as to reflect the labor form of modern society. He hoped that the China Institute of Labor Relations would continue to give full play to its advantages and bravely explore in many fields.

At the press conference, Li Ke, dean of the School of Labor Education (Institute of Labor Education) of the university, introduced the content of the report from three aspects: the progress of various fields of labor education, the characteristic practice of each school period and the future development. In the discussion session, Zuo Weihe, Director of the Moral Education and Labor Education Division of the Student Service and Quality Development Center of the Ministry of Education, Duan Fusheng, President of Beijing Changping Vocational School Education Group, Li Zuolin, Head of the Labor Teaching and Research Group of the Middle School Affiliated to Chinese People's University, and Dang Yin, Vice Dean of the School of Labor Education (Labor Education Research Institute) of China Institute of Labor Relations, conducted in-depth discussions on "Prospects for High-quality Promotion of Labor Education".
