Smart Rail Connects the Future
On December 8, the 2023 China International Rail Transit and Equipment Manufacturing Industry Expo (hereinafter referred to as the Rail Expo) was grandly opened in Zhuzhou, Hunan, with more than 600 companies from all over the world participating online and offline.
Rail Transit Expo is the only national international professional exhibition in the field of rail transit equipment manufacturing in China. With the theme of "Smart Rail, Connecting the Future", this year's Rail Transit Expo brings together the world's high-end products and various cutting-edge technologies to talk about the future of the rail transit industry. It will focus on displaying the latest scientific research achievements of the world's rail transit, advanced equipment manufacturing, construction and operation and maintenance levels, promote the establishment of customer relationships between Chinese and foreign professionals, and strive to create a first-class industry event at home and abroad.
CRRC Zhixing brought the newly upgraded second-generation four-train smart rail train - "ART ULTRA" real car and smart rail model to the exhibition.

At the opening ceremony, Mao Weiming, deputy secretary of the Hunan Provincial Party Committee and governor of Hunan Province, announced the opening of the Rail Expo, and Ren Hongbin, president and party secretary of the China Association for the Promotion of International CooperationLiu Youmei, academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering and director of the CRRC Zhuji Expert Committee;Ding Rongjun, academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering and chief scientist of CRRC, was invited to attend the opening ceremony.
Ren Hongbin and other guests said that Hunan rail transit equipment industry has a strong foundation, vitality and broad prospects. It is hoped that this rail expo will be used as an opportunity to expand the circle of international friends, build a diversified platform for Chinese and foreign enterprises to participate in the development of rail transit and equipment manufacturing industry, and provide precise services, so that the results of sustainable transportation development can better benefit people around the world.
New products, new technologies
CRRC Zhixing's four-train smart rail train "ART ULTRA" made a new appearance at Zhuzhou International Convention and Exhibition Center. The international and modern fully automatic smart rail train attracted many professional visitors to stop and take a test ride.
Its exterior is designed with the concept of the realm of time, implying the development of science and technology and following certain laws, and the hand-drawn illustrations show the historical changes of China's transportation culture. The interior design is creatively designed with "one car and four scenes": the four carriages are respectively Chinese-style, European-style, medium-east wind and ocean wind, which is like completing a journey around Eurasia. The unique and creative interior design reflects the global thinking and international aesthetics of Smart Rail, and also demonstrates the confidence and mission of Smart Rail to go abroad and sail to the world.
Behind the international standard and modernization, is the strong support of the "hard power" of smart rail: smart rail is a new type of medium and low volume rail transit system independently developed by the company for 7 years and the world's first, which retains the advantages of rail transit, breaks the application limitations, and has the characteristics of small infrastructure investment, short construction period and flexible scheduling.
The four-car smart rail is not only based on the original three-car trainIncreased throughput, with a maximum capacity of 420 passengersIt has made innovative breakthroughs in various performance such as maximum speed, intelligent driving, and energy-saving contributionï¼›Zhang Chenlin, assistant director of the technology center of Zhixing Company, introduced that the maximum speed of the four-group smart rail has been qualitatively improved: the speed has been increased from 80 kilometers to 120 kilometers per hour, and the acceleration and deceleration performance has been greatly improved, from the original 073 raised to the existing 10 (average acceleration 0 70 km can be increased to 1.)At the same time, the braking capacity of the smart rail has also been improved, providing cities with faster, lighter, more flexible, smarter and greener rail transit solutions. 
At present, the smart tram has moved from Zhuzhou to the whole country, from domestic to international. As of 2023, 8 smart rail operation lines (including branch lines) have been opened in 5 cities in China, including Zhuzhou, Yibin, Suzhou, Harbin and Xi'an, with an operating mileage of nearly 120km and 12 lines under construction (including 3 overseas). In 2022, Smart Rail went abroad and successively won orders from overseas markets such as Kuching in Malaysia and Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates, representing China's high-end manufacturing and flying overseas, which was favored by local people.
