Nowadays, there are more and more mobile apps, there are more than 100 apps with different purposes on my mobile phone, and many apps will have various permission applications when they are launched, read various types of user information, judge your preferences and needs, and push more accurate ads, which also leads us to pay more and more attention to the protection of privacy information on mobile phones.
As an old user of OPPO mobile phone, I upgraded my phone to the latest version of the ColorOS 14 system as soon as possible, so let's talk about using the privacy stand-in function to protect our information security. First, in the system settings options, find the "Permissions & Privacy" option, and then select the "Privacy" page in the navigation bar at the top of the screen.
After entering the "Privacy" page, you can see the "Privacy Double" tab, and click on it to enter the "Privacy Double" function option. Here you can see the many apps installed on our phones that read personal information, and there is also a sorting option in the upper right corner of the screen. You can sort by the name of the app or by the most recently used app.
Then, we can independently turn on the "privacy stand-in" function for the app as needed. The privacy stand-in function allows the app to replace blank information when reading various information such as text messages, contacts, and calendars in the device, so as to prevent personal real information from being maliciously read by third-party applications, resulting in privacy leakage.
This use can not only allow the third-party APP to start and use normally, but also ensure information security and avoid personal privacy leakage, which can be described as killing two birds with one stone.
