Southeast.com, January 1 (Reporter Lin Xianchang) Recently, under the guidance of the Taiwan Work Department of Pingtan Comprehensive Experimental Zone and undertaken by Fujian Tianhai International Travel Agency, the 2023 Lantai Youth Exchange Activity of "Originating from Pingtan Island and Expressing Lantai's Feelings" was successfully held. More than 120 young people from Lantai gathered in Landao to participate in activities such as tourism, traditional cultural experience, intangible cultural heritage handicraft display, employment and entrepreneurship sharing sessions, to get to know each other, communicate with each other, enhance the emotional connection between each other, and promote the integrated development of Lantai culture.
At the event, the young people gathered together in Pingtan to listen to the representatives of Lantai Youth share the stories of entrepreneurship and employment in Pingtan to understand the policy of benefiting Taiwan in Pingtan and look forward to the new year together, and express their hope that through exchanges and interactions, they will work together to create a better future. In addition to exchanges and sharing, the event site also set up a display of Lantai traditional lanterns, Pingtan shell carving display, Pingtan youth tea art performance, celebrating the birthday of Lantai youth, and singing the song "Blind Date and Love Family".

After the event, many young people spontaneously shared the wonderful moments of the event through WeChat Moments, Douyin and other social networks, and these youthful voices are the greatest affirmation of the event.
I am very happy to participate in this youth exchange activity, through the activity let me feel the enthusiasm of Pingtan for the people of Taiwan, but also let me realize many characteristics of Pingtan , this is my first time to Pingtan to play, I will come to Pingtan in the future to play, if there is a chance will also come to Pingtan for development, often come and go. Taiwan's youth representative Zheng Siqi said.
This is a very meaningful activity, not only let me learn a lot of knowledge, appreciate the unique handicrafts of Pingtan , but also let me meet a lot of friends from Taiwan, I feel very happy, and I hope to have more opportunities to participate in such activities in the future, exchange and learn with Taiwanese youth, and enhance mutual understanding. In the next step, the Taiwan Work Department of Pingtan Comprehensive Experimental Zone will continue to guide relevant units and departments in the area to further innovate the form of activities, build a "partner" bridge between Pingtan youth and Taiwanese youth, and contribute youth strength to the exchange and integration of Lantan and Taiwan.
