Jiangsu Provincial Higher Vocational School is a political and legal higher vocational school that implements policing management. The school is responsible for the three major functions of the province's judicial administrative system, including "talent training, education and training, and theoretical research". The school was founded in 1985, renamed Jiangsu Provincial Higher Vocational School in 1997, and renamed Jiangsu Provincial Higher Vocational School in May 2004 with the approval of the Department of Education, becoming the first branch of Jiangsu United Vocational and Technical College. In 2015, Jiangsu Provincial Institute of Judicial Administration was put into operation.
