Although the annual CES Consumer Electronics Show will not be unveiled until January 9, South Korean manufacturer LG has announced a new product MyView smart display, which is a combination of traditional computer screens, TVs and wireless screens, providing 315-inch IPS screen with 4K resolution and 60Hz refresh rate, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth support, and a WebOS smart system pre-installed.
LG MyView can be used via HDMI or wirelessly connected to a PC or laptop, and it is also a smart TV in its own right, which can be installed with Netflix, Apple TV+, Plex and other video streaming** platforms, and even if you are not connected to a computer, it also has some basic computer functions thanks to built-in programs such as Microsoft 365 and Google Calendar. Because the screen refresh rate is only 60Hz, LG MyView may not be able to meet the needs of gamers, but it can meet the needs of users for multiple purposes.
There are three models in the LG MyView series, the basic version does not have a **lens and the base cannot be adjusted, and there are two USB 20 port, a USB-C port that supports 45W power supply. The mid-range version supports an external** lens, offers 3 USB-C ports and supports 65W power supply, without USB 20 interface, but the screen brightness is higher. As for the top-of-the-line version, it has a built-in** lens, while the USB-C power supply speed is up to 90W. LG revealed that the basic and mid-range variants are both priced at US$499, while the top-of-the-line variants are priced at US$599 (about HK$3,897 and HK$4,678 respectively).
