On December 12, Amazon Web Services 2023 re:invent China City Tour kicked off, covering 10 cities: Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Chengdu, Qingdao, Nanjing, Xi'an, Hangzhou, and Changsha. At the 2023 Re:Invent Global Conference, Amazon Web Services launched a series of new services and features around the underlying infrastructure, generative artificial intelligence (AI), data strategy, etc., and fully focused on generative AI, including the new generative AI assistant Amazon Q, Amazon Bedrock, more model choices and new powerful features, Amazon In addition, Amazon Web Services has launched a new generation of self-developed chips, Amazon GR**iton4 and Amazon Trainium2, for a wide range of workloads such as machine learning Xi (ML) training and generative AI applications.

Generative AI has tremendous potential to transform technology and reshape the way people behave. Amazon Web Services provides a three-tier architecture for generative AI, including applications built with foundational models, tools built with foundational models, and infrastructure for foundational model training and inference. Amazon Q is a new generative AI-enabled assistant that can be customized to meet the needs of the office scenario. Customers can quickly get relevant answers to complex questions, generate content, and take action. Amazon Bedrock has further lowered the barrier to entry for generative AI applications with more model choices and powerful new capabilities to securely build and scale generative AI applications. Amazon SageMaker's five new capabilities make it easier and faster for enterprises to build, train, and deploy machine-based Xi models that support a variety of generative AI use cases.

Silicon is the foundation of all enterprise workloads. Amazon Web Services has been self-developed chips for more than ten years, and each generation of self-developed chips has improved cost performance and energy efficiencyAt the same time, it provides customers with the latest chip and instance combinations based on AMD, Intel, and NVIDIA. At Re:Invent 2023, Amazon Web Services launched Amazon GR**ITon4 and Amazon Trainium2 self-developed chips to provide better cost Xi performance and energy efficiency for a wide range of workloads such as machine learning training, and generative AI applications. Through close cooperation with Sinnet and NWCD, Amazon EC2 C7G, M7G, and R7G instances based on GR**ITON3 processors are now officially available in the Amazon Web Services China (Beijing) Region and China (Ningxia) Region, bringing greater cost-effectiveness and energy efficiency to Chinese customers for a wide range of cloud workloads.

Xiaojian Chen, General Manager of Amazon Web Services Greater China, said: "As a pioneer and leader in global cloud computing, Amazon Web Services releases many new services, new features and new applications at the annual re:invent global conference. We continue to reinvent cloud computing in infrastructure, compute, storage, data, and more, with new services and capabilities around generative AI, the most transformative technology available today. Through these technological innovations, we hope to help more companies accelerate innovation and reshape the future with generative AI. ”
