Quectel has made a major breakthrough in the CC200A-LB satellite communication module, and has successfully obtained four global authoritative certifications of CE, FCC, IC, and RCM.
These certifications mean that the module has met the network access standards of overseas markets such as Europe, North America, Australia, and New Zealand, and will provide more reliable and wide-coverage global network connectivity for maritime, transportation, heavy equipment, agriculture, mining, and oil and gas monitoring scenarios in these regions with its more cost-effective and ultra-low latency.
As the first satellite communication module launched by Quectel, the CC200A-LB is equipped with Orbcomm's satellite IoT connectivity platform, which uses the L-band of the Inmarsat Geo constellation and supports two-way communication, low latency, and global coverage. At the same time, the module can be used with a cellular module to create a "satellite + cellular" dual-mode connection, with higher reliability and redundancy, even in the case of insufficient or interrupted cellular network coverage, IoT devices can still maintain communication through satellite connection.
In terms of exterior design, the CC200A-LB is available in a compact LCC+LGA package with dimensions of 37mm 38mm 335mm, small and lightweight. In addition, the module supports multi-constellation GNSS positioning, which can quickly and accurately determine the location of the device. At the same time, the module is also equipped with an easy-to-use AT command set, which can be easily configured and managed by the user.
