Our unit recently had a new leader

Our unit recently had a new leader, who has been in office for half a year, but there are hardly any meetings. The chief of staff asked him for instructions, but he let everything go on as usual, as long as he continued to work in the same way. In the past six months or so, he has been running at the grassroots level, mingling with the grassroots workers, and has not shown any attitude.

In this way, everyone also understands his attitude - that is, to let everyone work in peace and not think about unnecessary troubles. As for work issues, he will personally understand the situation and make decisions himself. In the past six months, although the leaders did not hold a meeting, everyone gradually adapted to this way of working, after all, the work still has to be done, and the meeting is not necessary.

However, everyone is also discussing in private, what kind of person is this leader? What exactly does he want to do? Is it to carry out some kind of reform? Or do you have any other ideas? However, these discussions are only speculation, and no one can be sure.

Until one day, the company suddenly received a notice from the superior department, requiring all units to conduct a comprehensive self-inspection to investigate violations of rules and disciplines. This notice caused panic among everyone, because the company is usually very busy at work, and who has time to think about these things, let alone violate the rules.

When the leaders learned about this, they decided to organize a meeting to discuss the matter. This was the first organizational meeting of the leadership, and many people were surprised. At the meeting, the leader first showed everyone his attitude: the work of our unit has been very good, but we still have to conduct self-inspection in accordance with the requirements of the superiors, because the company is a big family, and each of us should pay attention to the details and abide by the rules.

Then, the leader began to talk about some of his views on the work. He said that the purpose of running at the grassroots level is not to keep people from meetings, but to really understand the responsibilities and difficulties of each position.

Only when we truly understand the essence of the problem can we make better decisions. And this meeting is being held today because in the face of this problem, he believes that everyone can discuss a good solution together.
