Swiss tennis legend Wawrinka sees Nadal as one of the favourites to win the 2024 French Open, provided Nadal is fit and ready to compete at the highest level.

If he's in good health, he'll always be one of the hottest people no matter how far he goes. He missed the race, he won many titles at Roland Garros and he will always be the favourite. No one knows the game better than him. Wawrinka said.
Nadal is the most successful player in Roland Garros' history, having won the title 14 times. However, he has been plagued by injuries recently, which has also cast a shadow over his journey to the French Open this year.
