Journey to the West is one of the four famous novels in ancient China, and the characters in the book have distinct personalities and are vividly portrayed by the author Wu Chengen;The content of the book is a long-lasting and memorable experience. I revisited "Journey to the West" again this summer, and I will share my thoughts with you below.
This book mainly tells the story of the four Tang monks and apprentices who went through nine hundred and eighty-one difficulties, subdued demons and eliminated demons along the way, eliminated all difficulties, and finally arrived at Lingshan Da Lei Yin Temple to obtain the true scriptures. The reason why Tang monks and apprentices were able to obtain the true scriptures was because they had the perseverance and determination to overcome obstacles. The Monkey King is my favorite character in this book. He is vicious in the face of ugliness and injustice, courageous in the face of difficulties and dangers, and so loyal in the face of the master-apprentice relationship. Although he is a naughty stone monkey, he has a sincere heart to bless Tang Seng to go west to learn scriptures, which is very commendable. But I think the most important reason for their mentoring and apprenticeship to achieve positive results is that they tolerate each other, unite and cooperate, and only then can they achieve the ultimate mutual achievement. The roles of the four masters and apprentices are indispensable in this book, and each has its own merits.
In "Journey to the West", the most exciting thing is "Sun Wukong beats the white bone spirit three times", in order to eat Tang monk's meat and achieve the goal of immortality, the white bone spirit turned into ordinary people three times to deceive Tang Seng, but they were all recognized by Sun Wukong's fiery eyes, and finally killed the white bone spirit. Tang Seng is kind-hearted and can't distinguish between right and wrong. Seeing Sun Wukong "killing innocents indiscriminately", he was annoyed and angry, and he was bent on driving Sun Wukong away. At this time, Zhu Bajie added fuel to the fire, added oil and vinegar, and finally Tang Seng drove Wukong back to Huaguo Mountain in a fit of anger. Because of the disunity of their master and apprentice, Tang Seng strayed into the Boyue Cave of Wanzi Mountain and was caught by the yellow-robed monster. It also reminds me of the classmates around us, only when we trust each other, unite and work together, can we achieve common goals.
