Dong Chee-hwa, deputy director of the Management Committee of Yushu Economic Development Zone, said that the development zone has successively introduced 100,000 tons of modified starch from Jilin Zhongyou, 30 MW cogeneration from Dalian Huineng, 50,000 tons of bio-organic fertilizer from Xinshunlai, and 30,000 tons of lactide from COFCO Biotechnology. Through the issuance of local bonds, the development and construction of traditional Chinese medicine industrial parks, Huancheng food industrial parks and biochemical industrial parks, as well as the "introduction of pine into five" projects, a total investment of 351.3 billion yuan.
Jilin Zhongyou Technology, which was built at the end of 2022, mainly produces modified starch for food.
