The 2023 Oriental Talent Program Teacher Program was announced recently. It is understood that the "Oriental Talent Program Teacher Program" is mainly for teachers in universities and primary and secondary schools in Shanghai, aiming to select and train teachers with innovative ability and practical experience, encourage them to actively participate in education and teaching reform and innovation, and improve the quality of education and teaching. Three teachers from different schools in Xuhui were selected, namely Chen Jun from Shanghai Information Management School, Yao Hong from Shanghai Nanyang Model Middle School, and Yan Qin from Huishi Primary School in Xuhui District, Shanghai.
Since joining the work in July 1996, Chen Jun has served as the host of the discipline base of the Xuhui District Education System and the person in charge of the "Chen Jun Culinary Master Cultivation Studio" in Shanghai, and is currently the host of the "Shanghai Chen Jun Culinary Master Studio", a national pastry evaluator, and a member of the teaching and research group of the Shanghai Culinary Professional Center. In recent years, Chen Jun has won many awards, including the Shanghai Municipal Gardener Award twice, the National Huang Yanpei Vocational Education Award, etc., and was awarded the title of Senior Teacher in 2022. Yao Hong, vice principal, special teacher, senior teacher of Shanghai Nanyang Model High School, vice president of the Shanghai Society of World History, director of the Shanghai Historical Society, and served as a consultant and tutor in Fudan University, East China Normal University and other institutions of higher learning. She actively participated in the compilation and demonstration teaching of high school history textbooks, served as an expert in the evaluation of "excellent courses" by the Ministry of Education, and participated in national teaching improvement projects. Yan Qin, vice principal of Huishi Primary School in Xuhui District, has won many honors such as the National May Day Labor Medal, the Shanghai May Day Labor Medal, and the Shanghai Gardener Award.
