In order to further study, publicize and implement the best cultural thoughts, deeply understand the "two combinations", and strengthen the "four self-confidences", the practice team of the School of Economics and Management of Fuzhou University went to Xiamen City, Fujian Province from January 23 to 24, 2024, and carried out research activities in key exhibition venues such as the Xiamen Museum and the Memorial Hall of the Special Economic Zone.
On the 23rd, the members of the practice team came to the museum to deeply understand the entrepreneurial experience of the ancestors on both sides of the strait, and unanimously agreed that "geographical proximity" is the "first edge" of the five edges, revealing that the two sides of the strait have the same root and the same origin and belong to the same family from the perspective of geography and history. During the next trip to the memorial hall of the Xiamen Special Economic Zone, the team members learned that the Xiamen Special Economic Zone implemented the strategic deployment, opened a precedent for cross-strait non-governmental exchanges and economic and trade exchanges, and played an important role in easing the situation in the Taiwan Strait and promoting cross-strait exchanges. On the morning of the 24th, the practice team came to the Fujian-Taiwan Folk Culture Exhibition Hall at the former site of the Ya in Tong'an County, Xiamen City, to deeply understand the connotation of cross-strait folk culture, and to have a more systematic understanding of the historical context of the formation of cross-strait "cultural ties".
Through this practical activity, the practice team members deeply explored the historical origin of the "geographical", "commercial" and "cultural origins" of Fujian and Taiwan, and more deeply realized that both sides of the Taiwan Strait belong to the Chinese nation, share Chinese culture, and have a deep foundation for cultural integration. The young people of the "Fujian and Taiwan Affection, Cross-Strait Culture" practice team will continue to combine their own professional advantages, conduct in-depth field research, dig deep into the profound cultural heritage in folk customs, opera, costume culture and language, and jointly explore new ways of cross-strait youth cultural exchanges based on the excellent traditional Chinese culture.
The practice team of the School of Economics and Management of Fuzhou University contributed to the practice team of "Fujian and Taiwan have deep feelings, and culture on both sides of the strait".
