Hello everyone, today I would like to share with you the story of my family. First of all, I would like to thank my mother for her dedication in the past 15 years, she has been silently giving and providing me with a warm home and meticulous care.
I remember when I was a child, I was always sick, and every time I had a fever or cold, my mother would stay by the bedside, take care of me night and night, feed me medicine, and change my towel. I was young and couldn't remember what my dad was doing, but I knew he must have been asleep in another room or watching TV with relish.
I was deeply touched by my mother's dedication and made me determined to repay her love. So I started to learn all kinds of housekeeping skills, cooking, cleaning, laundry, etc., I wanted to reduce her burden and let her know that I was sensible and capable.
However, my dad's coldness left me confused and helpless. He cared very little about me and rarely communicated with my mother. I tried to communicate with him, but each time it ended in failure. Now I understand that his coldness may be due to the pressure of his work, or that he is an introvert himself. But no matter what, I know he doesn't mean anything, he's just showing love in his own way.
As for my own commitment to my mother, I will study hard, be a responsible person, and be filial to my parents. I will also do my best to care for my family members, including my dad and my mom. I know it's the most trivial thing I can do for them, but I also know it's also my truest expression.
In short, filial piety is not only material care, but also an emotional understanding and dedication. No matter what other members of the family look like, we need to know how to cherish every love they give us. As for my mom, I've started to make good on my promises – and while she's never complained about them, she's always been behind me. Thanks to my mother's selfless love and support, I will make her happier in the future!
