If you go to southern Xinjiang, the ancient and mysterious Luobu village is worth visiting!

In the northernmost part of the Taklamakan Desert, there is an ancient and mysterious village of the Lobu people. On an area of 72 square kilometers, there are only about 20 households.

For thousands of years, the Lobu people have been isolated from the rest of the world, backed by the vast and silent Gobi Desert, guarding the beautiful ancient poplar forests and clear turquoise lakes, fishing and hunting for a living, and the endless Tarim River provides them with a source of survival.

The Luobu people are a member of the Uyghur ethnic group in Xinjiang, who worship the sun, sing and dance, and are hospitable. The Lobu people are both long-lived and healthy, with a high percentage of 100-year-olds, and there are even "100-year-old grooms".

According to expert research, the diet of the Luobu people is mainly based on Luobu hemp tea, corn and fish, although simple, but nutritious, coupled with the pollution-free water and soil environment, it has become the secret of their longevity.

Today's Luobu village is a national AAAA-level scenic spot and a beautiful pearl on the southern Xinjiang tourism line, about 40 kilometers away from Yuli County.

The main entrance of the Luobu village is shaped like the head of a man wearing a hat, flanked by fish totems. The buildings are made of logs and straw in a primitive and quaint style.

Five highlights of the scenic spot: Red Willow Beach, Shennu Lake, Ancient Tombs, Poplar Forest, and Desert Camel Caravan.

Red Willow Beach, where there are dense red willow trees and golden sand dunes, when the sun sets, the whole red willow beach is dyed with a golden color, which is picturesque.

Goddess LakeIntegrating natural landscapes such as sand seas, lakes, and poplars, you can enjoy the beautiful picture of "fish flying shallow bottom and water birds flying" on the 14-kilometer cycling loop.

Ancient tombsIt is a microcosm of the history and culture of the ancient Luobu people, they have peculiar shapes, some are round, some are square, covered with thick sand, and full of mystery.

Millennial poplar forestThe forms are different, some canopies are as broad as umbrellas, and some trunks are twisted and circling, full of shocking vitality and vicissitudes.

Desert camel caravansIt is an unmissable experience project, go deep into the hinterland of the desert, enjoy the sand dunes, lakes and strange landforms along the way, and the sound of camel bells makes you feel like you have walked into the ancient country of Loulan thousands of years ago.
