Recently, overseas** disclosed the details of the product plan of Sony and Honda joint venture Sony Honda Mobility. In addition to the Afeela electric sedan, which the company has previously confirmed for launch in 2025, it will also launch an SUV in 2027 and a lower** compact model in 2028 or later. All three vehicles will be developed on the same platform. It is reported that the compact model of Sony Honda Mobility will share parts with Honda's own electric vehicles to reduce **. Honda had just previously unveiled the Saloon concept at CES and will launch its production version in 2026. 
The SUV products of the joint venture company have not been disclosed in many details. However, before that, Sony had shown the Visions 02 concept car, which can probably be seen as a preview of the SUV styling design. It's not hard to see that the SUV shares the same design language as the sedan, but with a taller body and a hatchback design.
The Afeela sedan, which will be launched in 2025, will feature a dual-motor front and rear layout, each with 241 horsepower, paired with a 91 kWh lithium-ion battery pack. The pre-production version of the afeela is equipped with 45 sensors, including lidar and 8 cameras. The autonomous driving chip from Qualcomm enables it to have L3 autonomous driving assistance capabilities. Afeela's design is sleek and understated. The car is equipped with a through-type dashboard, and Sony provides it with a huge number of ** resources. Users can play Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse in the car, or play Fortnite. Although Sony Honda Mobility has a rich product plan, it does not seem to be very attractive compared to the highly competitive domestic market. Sony Honda Mobility has not made it clear whether it wants to enter the domestic market, so we can only wait and see if it is lively for now. However, being able to play Sony's games in the car looks quite attractive.
