In the first issue of "October" in 2024, 11 poems by Jiang Fei were published under the title of "Peeling Green Beans". Yesterday, I wrote an article "October" "Headline Poet" Chen Xianfa, and the poems he wrote seemed to be very profound, but I didn't expect to write an article about "October" again today. It's not that I'm staring at "October", it's just that the poems published in "October" made me have the urge to write.
In recent years, the comprehensive literary journal "October" has indeed "attracted attention" in the poetry world. I wonder if this is a good thing or a bad thing? But "October" has always adhered to its own "style", and the "headline poet" in January 2024 is Chen Xianfa, and 11 poems by Jiang Fei were published in the first issue.
Some people will say, what is this? It's really nothing, let's go and read the poems. Since "October" is titled "Peeling Green Beans", let's still take a look at this song "Peeling Green Beans". Jiang Fei's "Peeling Green Beans" and Chen Xianfa's "Suddenly" are two poems of completely different styles. One is plain and straightforward, and the other is profound and obscure. But this does not prevent "October" from liking them, which shows the breadth of "October" poetry editing.
Reading Jiang Fei's "Peeling Green Beans", we can know several things. First, Jiang Fei does housework at home, such as peeling green beans. The second is that Jiang Fei likes to read poetry, and he has to read three poems before going to bed. The third is that Jiang Fei likes the feeling of "down-to-earth", and this feeling needs to rely on walking barefoot on the ground.
Therefore, it can be seen that Jiang Fei is a "down-to-earth" person. Like ordinary people, do housework, and like to be down-to-earth like ordinary people. Of course, Jiang Fei also has unusual places, such as liking to read poetry, such as walking barefoot. How many people read poetry now? I can't count it, but I don't think it's much.
How many people like to walk barefoot? Again, it can't be counted. Children seem to prefer to walk barefoot, but either they are too young to wear shoes, or they are scolded by adults and are quickly put on shoes. The feeling of being down-to-earth is practical, and you don't have to be barefoot, and you will also feel this way when you wear shoes.
In addition, we usually live upstairs now, and even if we walk barefoot, we may not be down-to-earth, but only on the floor, and there are several floors away from the ground. Therefore, walking barefoot has nothing to do with the land, let alone "full of real trust and hope". Of course, maybe Jiang Fei lives on the first floor, or lives in his own single-family villa, then it's different.
At the end of the poem, "All the green bean eyes in the world are looking at me", which should be the "poetic eye" of this poem. What is this "poetic eye"? I can't tell. Therefore, Jiang Fei's song "Peeling Green Beans" seems to be popular and straightforward, but it may not be easy to understand. This is my ** sick, I always want to read the current poems, but it is said that this is the "lowest" way to read poetry.
So how do we read poetry? Let's think about this image: a pile of green pods on the ground, the poet walking around on the ground barefoot, and a book of poems on the table next to it. That's what it should be, nothing else, right? So why did the psalmist want to write this? And also in the form of poetry? I don't understand.
