On Chinese New Year's Eve, the restriction on the tail number of motor vehicles will be lifted
In order to facilitate citizens to travel and return home, on February 9, 2024 (Chinese New Year's Eve), Chengdu will cancel the restriction on the tail number of motor vehicles, which is connected with the Spring Festival holiday, and there will be no traffic restrictions for 10 consecutive days from February 9 to February 18 (Chinese New Year's Eve to the ninth day of the new year).
During the Spring Festival, some bus lanes will be temporarily opened
In order to facilitate citizens to travel by car, in the suburbs, and in the vicinity of Chengdu, from February 10 (the first day of the Lunar New Year) to February 17 (the eighth day of the Lunar New Year), the bus lanes on the 11 main passages in and out of the city in areas outside the Second Ring Road will be temporarily opened to allow social vehicles to pass. Specifically:
1) Chengluo Avenue (Yurong Expressway), Chenghua Avenue (Chengnan Expressway), Jinfeng Road (Chengpeng Expressway), Shuhan Road (Chengguan Expressway) and other 4 radioactive main road bus lanes directly connected to the intercity expressway;
2) Shaxi Line, Wannian Road, Guanghua Avenue, Wuhou Avenue, Kehua Road, Chenglong Avenue, Chuanshan Road and other 7 radioactive main roads outside the second ring road bus lanes.
At the same time, the public security traffic management department will set up a reminder sign that allows temporary borrowing of bus lanes at the starting and ending points of the above-mentioned 11 passages in and out of the city, and the general public is requested to pass according to the prompts of the traffic signs.
