Kenichi Uemura, born on April 22, 1974 in Japan, is an AFC professional coach. As a player, he played for many teams such as Sanfrecce Hiroshima and Sakura Osaka, and was selected for the Japanese men's national football team and represented Japan in the 1996 Olympic Games. After serving as a coach, he coached teams such as Sanuki Kama Tarumi (Japan) and Kumamoto Crimson U-18 (Japan). After coming to China, he led the Wuhan team to win the third place in the men's 17-18 years old football group of the first Student (Youth) Games (Open Group), and led the Wuhan Three Towns 05 team to win the third place in the 2nd China Youth Football League and the Chinese Football Association National Youth Football League (Men's U-19 Group).
