At about 3 o'clock in the afternoon of February 6, on the pole next to the canal located in the north of the ditch in Hannan District, the Yangtze River reporter saw an ice branch wrapped in ice upside down on the wire, and the repair personnel of the State Grid Wuhan Power Supply Company were removing the ice branches on the temporary insulated platform and repairing the wires that were injured by the ice branches.
The construction site is snowy, and a large red insulated platform about 10 meters high is particularly conspicuous in the ice and snow world. The construction personnel are buckling the safety rope and preparing to go on the insulated platform for emergency repair.

Yang Caixiong, the person in charge of the repair site and the deputy director of the Wuhan Huayuan Electric Power Line Engineering Department of the State Grid Wuhan Power Supply Company, introduced that the fault site was located near the 33 line pole of the 35,000-volt soapy water Deng line, and the cause of the fault was that on the afternoon of the 5th, the nearby trees fell due to ice and burned the two-phase wire, causing the line to be powered off. The 35,000-volt soap water Deng line is related to the power supply safety of 3 substations in Baojiao Mountain, Shuihong and Dengnan and 2 streets in Dongjing and Xiangkou.

The canals in the fields, the roads were narrow, the lifts could not be driven in, and we had to build ladders by ourselves. Yang Caixiong told reporters that on the morning of the 6th, when the repair personnel came to the repair site, they found that the on-site construction conditions were complex, so they quickly formulated a temporary construction plan, temporarily built an insulated platform at the site, and reinforced the bottom, pulled and stabilized, and then the workers climbed to the air for construction.
At the construction site, the reporter saw that the workers used a hacksaw on the top of the insulated platform to sawed off the branches hanging on the wires little by little until they were completely removed. The broken strands are then finely docked and then insulated tape is bandaged, as if a delicate bypass surgery was performed.
In the cold wind, the workers on the 10-meter-high insulated platform struggled to move, but they were still engrossed in repairing the line. On the ground, other personnel cooperated. After nearly 3 hours of construction, at 16:45, the emergency repair was completed and the cable was repaired.
The weather is cold, and we must overcome any difficulties to complete the urgent repair task of the complex situation and keep the user's home warm. At this time, Yang Caixiong, who was rooted in the front line of emergency repair, only rested for a few hours a day for 3 consecutive days, had a firm expression, and commanded the team members to pack up their tools and rush to the next repair site.
