On January 28th, the Kangping Wolong Lake Ice and Snow Marathon started with the "Longitudinal Horse Liaojin Hometown Meet in the Mountains and Rivers of Kangping". County magistrate Wang Lixun attended the opening ceremony and delivered a speech. Zhuang Zhanxiang, chairman of the county CPPCC, attended the opening ceremony.

With the whistle of the opening race, hundreds of marathon enthusiasts from all over the country rushed out of the starting line, and everyone enjoyed the thousands of miles of frozen northern realm of Wolong Lake on the way to run, temper their will in the cold wind, and break through themselves on the ice and snow track.
The Kangping Wolong Lake Ice and Snow Marathon with the theme of "Zongma Liaojin Hometown Meet the Mountains and Rivers of Kangping: Ice and Snow Competition", sponsored by the Municipal Sports Bureau and the county people, and undertaken by the County Culture, Tourism and Radio and Television Bureau (Sports Bureau) and the Wolong Lake Nature Reserve Management Center. The event set up a half marathon and a 10km marathon, and the route passed through the adventure island, ice park, ice and snow camp, etc., so that everyone could enjoy the "different scenery" in Kangping in winter.
After intense competition, in the end, the runner Sun Zongyang won the men's half marathon championship in 1 hour, 15 minutes and 52 seconds, and Chen Menghao and Zheng Changlei won the second and third places respectively. Zhang Na won the women's half marathon championship in 1 hour, 33 minutes and 33 seconds, and Sun Yanhong and Li Silu won the second and third places respectively.
In the competition of local runners, Chen Zhuo won the local men's championship of the half marathon in 1 hour, 32 minutes and 53 seconds, and Tang Li and Lin Chuntao won the second and third places respectively. Li Huiling won the local women's half marathon championship in 1 hour, 43 minutes and 56 seconds, and Cui Lijuan and Qi Yingli won the second and third places respectively.
Relevant leaders of the Municipal Sports Bureau and relevant county leaders participated in the event.
