Rolls Royce launches a special limited edition for the Year of the Dragon in China, limited to only

On February 10th, we will usher in the Year of the Dragon in China. Chinese New Year is a traditional Chinese festival celebrated by overseas Chinese from all over the world. And in the automotive industry, to celebrate the occasion, Rolls-Royce has launched two special limited edition models for the Chinese Year of the Dragon. There are a total of four models in these two models, including three Rolls-Royce Phantom Extended and one Cullinan.

These 4 Chinese Year of the Dragon Special Limited Edition models are specially produced for consumers around the world, and the Chinese Dragon logo can be seen both inside and outside the body.

The powertrain of the four special limited edition models has not changed, and the two cars are still equipped with 675L V12 engine. However, the styling style is significantly different from the regular model.

On the exterior of the body, the fenders are equipped with an artist-drawn Chinese dragon pattern. Both models feature a two-tone paint finish. The Cullinan Year of the Dragon Special Limited Edition is available in Crystal Cherry Red with Crystal Selby Grey. The elongated Phantom is finished in silver with cherry red or crystal black accents.

The interior of the cabin is decorated with a red Chinese dragon pattern, which is clearly visible on the front passenger seat panels, headrests and roof. One of the most striking is the starlight dome with a Chinese dragon motif. This is also the first time in the history of the Rolls-Royce brand that such a design has been adopted. It features at least 677 fiber-optic stars that form an abstract Chinese dragon pattern above the passenger seat's head. In addition, the Chinese dragon pattern is surrounded by 677 fiber optic stars.

The Chinese dragon embroidery pattern on the headrest is no less than 5499 stitches, and it took a single person 20 hours to complete. It is worth noting that the rear piano black table of the three cars is also inlaid with stainless steel Chinese zodiac signs, of which the zodiac dragon is decorated with gold. The icing on the cake is the carbon fibre veil pattern on the dashboard and the lambswool carpet mats on the floor.

Summoning the dragon Rolls-Royce said that the design of the four cars was done independently by an artist, and each car took two weeks. It is reported that the price of this Chinese Year of the Dragon Phantom Extended Edition is close to 500,000 US dollars (about 3.59 million yuan), while the price of the Cullinan Chinese Year of the Dragon Special Edition is at least 400,000 US dollars (about 2.87 million yuan).
