Han Kuo-yu, born in June 1957 in Taipei County, Taiwan Province (now New Taipei City), ancestral home in Shangqiu City, Henan Province, served as a "legislator", general manager of Taipei Agricultural Products Transportation and Marketing Company, and mayor of Kaohsiung, and represented the Chinese Kuomintang in the 2020 election for the leadership of the Taiwan region.
