The Great Wall Lao Guo "started a live broadcast on Jinshan Ridge.

Welcome to Lao Guo's live broadcast room. The mountain dances with silver snakes, wrapped in silver, and there is a real northern scenery here! After a heavy snowfall, the anchor "Great Wall Lao Guo" started broadcasting on the Jinshanling Great Wall.

The Jinshanling Great Wall is located in Luanping County, Chengde City, presided over the construction of Qi Jiguang when he served as the general soldier of Jizhen Town, starting from Longyukou in the west, reaching Wangjing Tower in the east, with a total length of 105 kilometers, there are 5 large and small passes along the line, 67 enemy towers, 3 beacons, with the characteristics of wide field of vision, dense enemy towers, peculiar landscape, exquisite architectural art, etc.

The live broadcast of the Great Wall is Lao Guo's daily "compulsory course", and the netizens who follow him "travel" come from all over the country, and tourists from Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei account for the majority. "Grass is planted! This weekend, I'm going to take my kids to watch the sunrise over the Great Wall. A Beijing netizen left a message. Lao Guo shouted at the screen: "I will start the live broadcast on Saturday morning, I hope we can meet at the Great Wall!" ”

Lao Guo's real name is Guo Zhongxing, and his other identity is the director of the Jinshanling Great Wall Cultural Relics Protection Center. He came to work on the Jinshanling Great Wall in 1998 and has witnessed the changes in tourists here for more than 20 years.

As early as the 80s of the last century, the Jinshanling Great Wall was opened to the public after the restoration was completed. Apricot blossoms bring rain from winter to spring, clouds surge in late summer and early autumn, and the forest is dyed ...... in late autumnThe different scenery throughout the year attracts photography enthusiasts to come one after another, and the scenic spot has accumulated some fame by word of mouth.

Guo Zhongxing recalled that in 1999, the scenic spot and a number of ** in Beijing held the "10,000 people across the Great Wall" activity, the momentum was huge, and the reputation was greatly boosted, and the route from the Jinshanling Great Wall to the Simatai Great Wall in Miyun in Beijing was on fire, and many foreigners from China would also make a special trip to the Jinshanling Great Wall to have a hiking tour. By the end of the last century, foreign tourists accounted for seventy percent of the total number of visitors to the Jinshanling Great Wall. Because of the large number of foreign tourists, the villagers of Erdaoliangzi Village at the foot of the Great Wall have mastered the most basic spoken English to communicate with foreign tourists.

In recent years, the situation has changed again. With the development of Gubei Water Town, the Simatai Great Wall was assigned to the Gubei Water Town Scenic Area, the "Jinshanling-Simatai" crossing project was closed, and the impact of the epidemic for three years has greatly reduced the number of foreign tourists. "Fortunately, under the coordinated development strategy of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei, the linkage of culture and tourism in the three places has been strengthened, and the Jinshanling Great Wall has welcomed more and more tourists from Beijing and Tianjin. Guo Zhongxing introduced that nearly seventy percent of the tourists in the scenic spot are local tourists in Beijing and tourists from outside Beijing passing through Beijing.

A similar situation has occurred in Beijing and Tianjin. In recent years, more and more tourists from Tianjin and Hebei have come to visit the Simatai Great Wall to experience the original history of the ancient Great Wall; Among the tourists who come to the Huangyaguan Great Wall Scenic Area in Tianjin, there are also many tourists from Beijing and Hebei.

Open a homestay and eat a "tourist meal".

Sightseeing check-in is moving towards the integration of culture and tourism.

On a winter afternoon, in a small courtyard of a homestay at the foot of the Jinshanling Great Wall, fireworks are rising in the kitchen. As soon as the guests who climbed the Great Wall entered the house, Lin Tong, the owner of the B&B, served the freshly cooked chicken stewed mushrooms and dumplings, and the proprietress was busy receiving another group of check-in tourists at the front desk. Walking into the courtyard, the magnificent Great Wall in the distance jumps in front of you, and time seems to freeze at this moment.

Lin Tongda grew up in the village, and after working in Beijing for a few years, he chose to return to his hometown and work at the company to which the scenic spot belongs. There is an endless stream of tourists who come to climb the Great Wall all year round, and every family opens a homestay to eat a "tourist meal". In 2021, Lin Tong and his wife discussed and transformed their courtyard into a homestay, which is not large, with only six rooms, but it is "hard to find a room" during the summer and holiday tourism season, and when the business is good, it can earn nearly 10,000 yuan a month.

Many people don't just stay for one night, and tourists who engage in photography stay for five or six days in order to take a good picture! Lin Tong said with a smile that in the past, many tourists came to the Great Wall to visit and leave on the same day, but now many people will stay for an extra night, enjoy the beautiful starry sky at the foot of the Great Wall, and then climb the Great Wall the next day.

Lin Tong also noticed that many families are "repeat customers", especially this year, many tourists from Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei make a special trip to see the sea of clouds after the rain in the summer, and feel the scenery after the snow in the winter.

Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei regard the planning and construction of the Great Wall National Cultural Park as a once-in-a-lifetime major opportunity to jointly promote the integration of culture and tourism and build a richer Great Wall ecology.

To the delight of the villagers, since October, the number of foreign tourists who have come to climb the Great Wall has gradually resumed, and the village has received several large groups of thirty or forty people. This winter, the local launch of the "Jinshanling Ice and Snow Tourism Season" has added a fire to the tourism popularity of Luanping County, many tourists first go to the Jinshanling Ski Resort Galaxy Ski Resort to play for a day, stay in the village for one night and then climb the Great Wall the next day.

When traveling, traffic comes first. With the opening of more and more dead-end roads, the intercity railway is becoming denser and denser, and the "Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei one-hour living circle" is gradually formed, providing strong support for the development of tourism between the three places. In addition to self-driving, you can also take the through train from Beijing Dongzhimen to Jinshanling Great Wall Scenic Area, or take the Huaimi Line of the suburban railway, and get off at Gubeikou Station and take a taxi for more than 10 minutes.

The three places work together to solve the problem of protection.

Promote the construction of the Great Wall National Cultural Park.

Lin Tong's B&B is called "Old Friends B&B", and his name is ** from his father's name, who is nearly sixty years old - Lin Changyou, a Great Wall protector. For him, who was born at the foot of the Great Wall, the Great Wall has become a part of his life.

In Lin Changyou's childhood memories, Jinshanling once became a "stone factory" for the surrounding villagers. Before the Jinshanling Great Wall was listed as one of the first national scenic spots in 1982, there was a lack of awareness of protection, and some villagers went to the Great Wall to pry brick houses. Seeing this situation, Lin Changyou's father embarked on the road of voluntary protection of the Great Wall without hesitation after being discharged from the army.

After graduating from junior high school, Lin Changyou went to Beijing to work, and learned the craft of bricklayer in the ancient construction company, and his income was quite considerable. After his father's death, he returned to his hometown in 1989 to protect the Great Wall, transforming from a bricklayer to a conservationist. "My father said that this is something left by the ancestors, not a single brick or tile can be destroyed, and the protection of the Great Wall must be passed on. Lin Changyou remembered his father's advice, no matter how hot or cold, he walked along the Great Wall for nearly 10 kilometers every day. With the craftsmanship of ancient building restoration, he also went to repair the Simatai Great Wall and the Juyongguan Great Wall.

The Great Wall is a linear historical and cultural heritage, it covers a long mileage, spans many administrative regions, a huge amount of engineering and profound historical accumulation, it is difficult for a region, an institution to repair, protect, develop and utilize, the Great Wall at the junction of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei is about 110 kilometers long.

How to solve the problem of protecting the Great Wall at the border? In July 2022, the cultural relics departments of the three places signed the Joint Agreement on Comprehensively Strengthening the Coordinated Protection and Utilization of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Great Wall to jointly promote the overall protection of the cultural heritage of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Great Wall and promote the construction of the Great Wall National Cultural Park. The agreement clearly proposes three aspects: to jointly establish a "coordination mechanism for the protection of the Great Wall", hold regular seminars on the protection of the Great Wall, and promote the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region to reach a consensus document on the protection of the Great Wall at the boundary of the administrative region; It is necessary to do a good job in "planning convergence", coordinate the delineation of the protection scope of the Great Wall and the construction control zone at the boundary of the administrative region, and jointly formulate an overall plan for the protection and utilization of the Great Wall within the condominium of Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei, and simultaneously carry out the work of repairing, utilizing and opening up the Great Wall; Regularly carry out joint inspections and inspections of the Great Wall at the border of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei administrative regions, and coordinate law enforcement work in accordance with their duties.

Miyun District and Luanping County have successively carried out protective repairs to the Wudaoliang Great Wall and the Great Wall of Shiftanlingguan. Previously, the protection of these two sections of the Great Wall was shelved due to ownership issues, but now the two places are thinking together and working hard together. "Protection has become the first, you protect a section and I protect a section, and it will form a continuous piece, and the joint promotion of a section will be formed. Guo Zhongxing said that the protection of the Great Wall has always practiced the concept of "maintaining the historical style, minimizing interference, and eliminating dangers".

Many years ago, Lin Changyou's nephew Lin Qiang, like his uncle, joined the team to protect the Great Wall, and now there are nearly ten Great Wall protectors. Every day, they carefully check whether the masonry is loose, displaced, or falling off, whether the wall is cracked or sinking, and whether the enemy building and horse road are leaking, and report the problems found in time. "It's our mission to do everything I can to make the life of the Great Wall as long as possible. Lin Changyou said.
