cs rankings

CS Rankings is a global ranking of computer science power in the field of computer science organized by Emery Berger, professor in the School of Computer and Information Science at Massachusetts State University Amherst.

Unlike other university and subject rankings, CS Rankings is a ranking of the world's top computer science institutions based on professional indicators. It is mainly based on the number of top academic conferences in the field of computer science presented by universities and research institutions around the world, which reflects the academic influence and international activity of universities and research institutions around the world in computer science and related directions to a certain extent.

Compared with the traditional citations ranking method, this method can better reflect the strength level and faculty of the institution in the field of computer science, so its authority and guiding significance are self-evident.

Ranking methodology

CS Rankings divides the field of computer science into four major sections: artificial intelligence, computer theory, computer systems, and interdisciplinary science, each of which contains several directions.

Among them, the theoretical section is divided into three directions: algorithm and complexity, cryptography, logic and verificationThe system sector is divided into 12 directions, including computer structure, computer network, computer security, database, automation design, embedded real-time system, high-performance computing, mobile computing, measurement and performance analysis, operating system, programming language, and software engineering.
