The United States cannot replicate the Cold War to defeat China

America's rules of survival date back centuries and are based on the idea of "don't be second."

The United States opposes the "second oldest" not because it discriminates against women, but because since the United States became a global hegemon, especially since the end of World War II, its comprehensive national strength is superior, and it has always feared that the second largest power will one day surpass itself.

The United States, as a leading eagle, plundered other countries, including the second, and enjoyed countless number one benefits. Therefore, the loss of the "first" position is what the United States fears the most, and the greatest threat is often the second place closest to itself.

Therefore, after the United States became the number one in the world, its first task was to stand out from the "second". Driven by this idea, little Japan, which was doing well, was forced to almost go bankrupt by the "Plaza Accord", the Soviet Union, which was on a par with the United States, was torn apart, and the European Union, which was trying to revive, was also hit hard by the Kosovo war.

In the long river of history, the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation is like a giant ship breaking through the waves, unstoppable, and is challenging the United States. Unlike the singular challenge of other countries, China's revival has put pressure on the United States on all fronts, making it the most powerful challenger to American hegemony.

However, in the face of this challenger, the United States has not shown the strength and fighting spirit it should have, but has become tired and powerless in dealing with it, and even at some times, its behavior is contrary to the temperament of a superpower, such as inciting Japan and South Korea and other Asian countries to be active on the Taiwan issue in an attempt to divide our relations with ASEAN.

The reason for this situation, Jingye Shi believes that the fundamental reason is that China, as a representative of the yellow civilization, has a long history and a unique path.

This is incompatible with the international system that the West has built since the Age of Discovery.

Since the Cold War, the confrontation between the United States and other challengers has basically been within the system one after another"Princes compete for hegemony"。For example, the decline of the Spanish Empire led to the rise of the British Empire, which, after its heyday, saw the United States become the new superpower.

Even the Soviet Union, the ideological enemy, was in essence the life and death of the world. In other words, Russia is ready to join the Western world as long as the United States is willing to tolerate Russia, the successor of the Soviet Union.

However, only us, completely different from Western countries. Therefore, the desire of the United States to destroy us and even defeat us is stronger than ever. The problem, however, is that the United States seems to be powerless than ever.

This seems to be a puzzling question, because we and the United States and other Western countries are completely opposite worlds, so the United States has no scruples about attacking us, just as they did by raising the banner of ideology against the Soviet Union.

Although there are great differences between us and Western countries in terms of race and ideology, the United States cannot defeat us in the same way that it defeated the Soviet Union, and can only watch the rejuvenation of the Chinese nation grow day by day.

This is not because the United States is not working the contrary, the United States is working harder than ever before, because it is related to the stability of its hegemony. Jingye Shi believes that the "powerlessness" of the United States is not only due to the path dependence of the United States itself in adhering to the Cold War mentality, but also because we have learned the strategy of "hand-to-hand combat."

When the United States defeated the Soviet Union, disintegrated the socialist camp, and won the final victory in the Cold War, a very important factor was that the struggle for hegemony between the United States and the Soviet Union was itself a-for-tat confrontation between the two "worlds."

Because of the common enemy of fascism during World War II, the United States and the Soviet Union, with diametrically opposed ideologies, finally chose to unite. The Soviet Union was strengthened by American aid, and the Soviet-German war enabled them to successfully export the proletarian revolution and establish a socialist camp to rival the capitalist camp after World War II.

During the Cold War, the two camps were equal in strength and had strong deterrence such as nuclear *** between each other, so World War III did not happen. The two superpowers, the United States and the Soviet Union, chose to confront each other through the "Cold War" and competed on a global scale.

Although the capitalist market economy is more prone to economic crises than the highly centralized planned economy, it is more dynamic overall. The economic boom led to the widespread spread of culture and ideas, which in turn hastened the collapse of the socialist camp.

And the defeat of the socialist camp, especially the USSR, and the rupture of relations with us, also played a role in this. However, the most fundamental reason is the relative inferiority of the socialist camp in terms of overall strength.

Despite the gap between us and the United States, the United States cannot influence us. Silent Night History believes that this is because we have a clear sense of our own strength and have adopted a very different line and approach from the Soviet Union, which has made us comfortable in dealing with the blockade of the United States and other Western countries.

After the collapse of the Soviet Union, NATO not only did not disappear, but became more powerful, constantly expanding eastward, forcing Russia, which is weak in comprehensive national strength, into a predicament, and even extending its tentacles to Mongolia, Japan and South Korea, in an attempt to develop this powerful military organization into a global hegemon.

Therefore, the United States and other Western countries believe that if they apply the strategy of defeating the Soviet Union to us, they will definitely succeed.

We have always kept a clear head and not easily fallen into their traps, and Russia's counterattack has created conditions for the transfer of firepower from Western countries. Even if Russia attracted the firepower of Western countries, we did not choose to ally with Russia, because the defeat of the USSR in those years was precisely because we lost our direction.

Our relations with Russia may become strained again, but an alliance will only lead us into the trap of Western countries, requiring greater risk. We have chosen not to align with each other, nor to go toe-to-toe with Western countries, a strategy that may seem inadequate, but one that can avoid greater losses and buy us precious time for development.

We are a natural world power, which is regarded as a threat by the United States and will certainly become the object of American struggle. We do not intend to dodge, but to close the gap or even surpass the United States by buying time for development, increasing the likelihood of victory in the decisive battle.

We are not blindly compromising, but engaged in hand-to-hand combat with the United States, so that it will be afraid of us. Silent Night History believes that this is a more clever strategy than the Soviet Union, and it is also an effective countermeasure to the United States.

Compared to the "kitchen debate" between Khrushchev and Nixon, we have gone through several transformations before we finally have the power we have today.

Before the founding of the People's Republic of China in 1949, the United States' support for the Kuomintang reactionaries and the failure of American politicians such as Stuart Leiden to contact us prompted New China to adopt a "one-sided" strategic choice and join the socialist camp led by the Soviet Union.

The main reason for the Sino-Soviet alliance was the high degree of ideological resonance. However, the Korean War that broke out on June 25, 1950, due to the invasion of the Taiwan Strait by the United States and its brutal interference in our internal affairs, eventually led to the rupture of friendly relations between China and the United States and strengthened the stability of the Sino-Soviet alliance.

The heroic performance of the Chinese People's Volunteers in the Korean War shocked the international community, and the Soviet Union was also impressed by New China, and then began large-scale assistance to China.

With the help of a large amount of assistance from the Soviet Union, the industrial system of New China was established, laying a solid foundation for future development.

At the end of the 50s, relations between China and the Soviet Union gradually deteriorated, and finally broke down completely in June 1959. Since then, we have been blockaded by the United States and the Soviet Union, and the international environment is fraught with danger.

However, it was precisely because of the hostility between China and the Soviet Union that the United States and other Western countries saw the possibility that we could balance the Soviet Union, and the United States was mired in the Vietnam War, and urgently needed our cooperation to withdraw from it.

After the outbreak of the Sino-Soviet conflict on Zhenbao Island in 1969, Sino-US relations began to thaw gradually, and in 1972 relations between the two countries were normalized. For the United States, our help has made them more comfortable in their fight against the socialist camp.

In particular, the self-defense counterattack war against Vietnam that broke out in February 1979, although it was aimed at Vietnam, was fatal to the Soviet Union and accelerated the collapse of the Soviet Union.

From today's point of view, the war of self-defense and counterattack against Vietnam not only dealt a severe blow to the Soviet Union, but also provided an opportunity to express our intention of cooperation to the West. As a result, the process of reform and opening up has been deepened, and we have begun to gradually abandon the practice of exporting proletarian revolution and gradually integrate into the international market dominated by the United States.

For the United States, it is undoubtedly a good thing to be able to conduct ** with a supermarket like China. With "Made in China", the cost of living of the American people is constantly decreasing, and the quality of life is also improving.

At the same time, China's advantages of labor-intensive and stable social environment have also been fully utilized, starting from labor-intensive industries, using a complete industrial system to continuously improve, and finally becoming China's veritable "world factory".

Nowadays, whether it is daily necessities or national heavy equipment, almost all of the lives of the United States are "made in China", and its proportion is as high as more than 85%.

In particular, the American flag has 9891% are "Made in China". This has become an important symbol of American society, showing the profound influence of China's industrial system on the United States.

By the end of 2018, the total number of U.S. investment projects in China had reached 70,181, and the actual investment reached 851900 million US dollars, accounting for 73% and 42%。

As of 2021, the stock of U.S. direct investment in China was $118 billion, and exports to China reached $150 billion in the same year.

In the economic field, Sino-US relations are heating up. According to the latest data, in November 2022, China held $1,120.5 billion in U.S. Treasury bonds, making it the largest creditor of the United States.

We have developed a high degree of economic ties with the United States, and not only the United States, but we also maintain a close symbiotic relationship with other Western countries. When they try to contain us, the priority is not to find more advanced **, but how to achieve economic "decoupling" from us.

After all, we have become an indispensable part of the industrial chain of the international market, and without us, they would also suffer huge losses. "Made in China" not only represents a large number of markets, but also represents strong manufacturing capabilities, which makes us a "thorn in the side" of them in the containment.

Just like the white-knuckle combat mode after the preparation of firepower in the Battle of Pingxingguan, although we are lagging behind in terms of equipment, only by entangled with the enemy can we avoid becoming a live target for enemy aircraft, and at the same time maximize the advantages of our cold weapons.

Facts have proved that this style of fighting, despite its own huge losses, can effectively deter enemies who dare not die with us. The United States today is very eager for an escalation of friction between China and the United States, especially to provoke a conflict on the treasure island, which will lead to tensions along the coast, an outflow of capital, and the United States will be able to confront us wholeheartedly after "decoupling" from us.

Therefore, at such a critical moment, we need to be more resolute in our strategic determination, and even if we have to deal with it in the form of war in the end, we must show the spirit of "encircling Wei and saving Zhao", and lead the war to Alaska and other US regions, so that war will become a nightmare for the United States and not ours.

After all, the confrontation between China and the United States is inevitable and is only a matter of time. At the same time, to some extent, the reunification of our motherland, as well as the success of the Belt and Road Initiative, will ultimately depend on the final outcome of the game between China and the United States.
