The National Immigration Administration announced today that five measures to facilitate foreigners to come to China will be officially implemented from now on, including the 24-hour direct transit of foreigners at Beijing Capital Airport and other hub airports without going through inspection procedures, so what conditions need to be met? What should I do if I need to leave the airport?
According to the relevant person in charge of the National Immigration Administration, inbound and outbound passengers are exempted from inspection procedures for 24-hour direct transit at 9 airports and ports including Beijing, and two conditions must be met: first, they should hold their own valid international travel documents; The second is to hold a connecting ticket that has been booked within 24 hours and transited to a third country or region, and does not leave the restricted area of the port. International transit passengers who meet the above conditions only need to go to the international direct transit area, go through the relevant check-in procedures, and then wait for boarding in the departure waiting hall.
If a direct transit passenger really needs to leave the restricted area of the port, he or she shall apply to the border inspection authorities for a temporary entry permit for transit, and the following materials shall be provided: (1) his/her valid international travel document; The second is to book a seat within 24 hours, transit to a third country or region of the connecting ticket, and fill in the temporary entry and exit card for foreigners. It is hereby reminded that if the international travel document is valid for less than 3 months, or has the stamp of refusal of the visa authority of China, or has illegal entry and exit, illegal residence, illegal employment record and other illegal circumstances in China within 5 years, the border inspection authorities will not issue a temporary entry permit.
