On the evening of February 2, the launching ceremony of the 2024 China Shanhaiguan Ancient City Annual Expo was held in the first square of the world. Mayor Ding Wei attended and announced the official launch of the "2024 China Shanhaiguan Ancient City Annual Expo".
It was the Northern Lunar New Year, and in the ancient city of Shanhaiguan, the four main streets with the Bell and Drum Tower as the center extending outward were full of lanterns, full of New Year's flavor. The first pass scenic spot in the world is full of tourists, enjoying the lanterns, listening to the commentary, tasting the food, watching the performance, and it is very lively. It is understood that the 2024 China Shanhaiguan Ancient City Annual Expo is one of the special activities of the city's "Winter Warm Sun, Qinhuangdao Appointment" tourism consumption season, and it is a specific measure for the city to do winter tourism and promote the high-quality development of the cultural and tourism industry. This year's annual expo not only prepared exquisite lantern exhibitions for tourists, but also a series of folk activities and performances, New Year's goods exhibitions, so that everyone can enjoy a rich cultural feast and taste the strong traditional New Year's flavor. The event lasted from February 2 (Xiao Nian'er) to February 25 (the sixteenth day of the first lunar month), during which a series of activities such as "New Year's Songs to Welcome the New Year", "Folk Temple Fair" and "Lantern Festival Joy Party" were staged in turn to welcome tourists from all over the world.
