In the traditional view, women always seem to be regarded as dependent on men, and the value of life is reflected in marriage and family. However, as the wheels of the times roll forward, more and more women choose to step out of this shackle and pursue an independent life. Recently, I learned about two divorced women, each with children, but because of the common goals and ideals, they came together and supported each other, and their stories deeply touched my thinking about women's independence and self-awakening. 
First of all, women's independence is not only limited to the economic level, but also includes spiritual and emotional independence. In most marriages, many women give up their careers and personal pursuits for the sake of their families and children, and gradually lose themselves. But independent women, who are able to stand their own financial stance, maintain their love for their careers and interests. They don't need to rely on anyone to support their own skies. In addition, they are also mentally and emotionally independent, able to think and make their own choices, and are no longer subject to male expectations and constraints.

In the past, women were often seen as appendages to men, and their value and status were often linked to the success of marriage and family. However, awakened women are beginning to realize that their worth and dignity are indispensable. They no longer see marriage and family as the whole of life, but bravely pursue their dreams and goals. They dare to challenge traditional gender roles and discrimination, break free from the shackles of family and society, and show their unique personalities and talents. 
Finally, women's independence and awakening are the embodiment of social progress. As women's status in the economic, political and social spheres increases, they have more opportunities to pursue their ideals.
