Wu Shengxi, a keeper at Everland Panda World, describes the superstar at their zoo. Born in 2020, Fu Bao was born to a panda couple on loan from China to South Korea in 2016 and was the first panda cub to be bred naturally in South Korea. Loved by the public since the day Fu Bao was born, this cute baby panda quickly attracted countless fans. However, Wu Shengxi did not, and she was able to keep her distance from this "panda craze" without pressure.
I even started to worry if something was wrong with my emotional abilities," she adds. When Fu Bao was born, Wu Shengxi was taking care of her red pandas. She was asked to stay away from Fu Bao, who was still a cub, to prevent the spread of disease between different animal breeding areas. The 32-year-old is affectionately known as "Aunt Panda" in Everland's panda world, and was originally a guide dog caretaker at Everland. Wu Shengxi was transferred to Panda World because there was a shortage of people, and the original two veteran breeders, Jiang Zheyuan and Song Yongkuan (now known as "Fu Bao's grandfather"), had to devote most of their energy to taking care of Fu Bao.
A few months later, as Fu Bao interacted more and more with her and the other keepers, Aunt Seung-hee's originally calm heart was stirred up by the baby panda. According to the agreement, Fubao plans to return to China in early April. Prior to this, she will undertake a month-long period of health advice management and adaptation preparation in a closed environment, as required by international wildlife regulations.

3. From Farm Girl to (Bear) Cat Whisperer.
Oh's love for animals is a natural bloom.
Growing up on her grandfather's dairy farm in Mugapli, Gyeonggi Province, Oh was surrounded by a variety of animals, which naturally fostered Oh's intimacy with animals and a desire to work professionally with them.
Her childhood memories are filled with daily interactions with cows, dogs, and chickens. "I got up at dawn to feed them," Mr. Wu recalled. Oh Seung-hee left the farm and animals she knew so well in middle school, which left her feel empty. "I begged my dad to buy me a dog," she said, "but he didn't agree." "Dad didn't like animals as much as Oh Seung-hee did, which made her feel sad.
Later, Oh found that watching SBS's "Animal Farm" every Sunday morning brought her some comfort, as it often featured Everland's animals and keepers. Gradually, the dream of becoming an animal keeper slowly sprouted in Wu Shengxi's heart.
Later, Wu Shengxi studied in the Department of Nature and Zoology (now renamed the Department of Animal Companions) at Xinqiu University, and after completing her studies, she began to work in various ways to take care of dogs. It wasn't until 2017 that Oh finally got an opportunity to join Everland as a guide dog caretaker.
4. At that time, Panda World didn't actually need additional breeders
After three years here, Panda World at Everland has announced a temporary keeper position. Wu Shengxi explained that at that time, Panda World didn't actually need additional keepers. Her employment depends on the success of the panda breeding program.
Wu Shengxi said: "At that time, Aibao may have been pregnant. If it is possible to produce baby pandas, the panda world will need additional manpower. But determining whether a panda is pregnant is a daunting task, often only close to delivery, and hormone tests are not very accurate.
I remember praying every day during that time," Wu said, "hoping that the baby panda would be born so that I could continue to work in the panda world." On July 20, 2020, her prayers were answered and Fu Bao was born.
Now Wu Shengxi has become one of the most famous keepers in the panda world. When Ms. Wu walked into the panda world on Feb. 2, tourists began to gather around her to ask for autographs and group photos.
Wu Shengxi revealed to reporters that the yellow hairpin has now become one of her symbols, and her original intention of wearing the hairpin is actually to solve the problem of bangs when taking care of pandas. Every time she used to wash the bamboo for the pandas, the bangs on her forehead would become oily and wet. Colleagues joked with her that it was evidence that she had lost another bamboo war.
Now I cut my bangs, but I still wear the hairpin because when I don't wear it, they ask me if the hairpin is **," Oh said. 
5. Giant panda's life class
With the two mischievous giant panda babies "Rui Bao" and "Hui Bao" playing on her lap after ** became popular on the Internet, Wu Shengxi's popularity also soared. The 2023-born giant panda twins are the second and third children of "Lebao" and "Aibao", and are also Fubao's younger sisters.

At first, Lebao would blatantly ignore her.
