In a report on CCTV Channel 10, I learned that there are 304 species of birds in the Dongzhai National Nature Reserve in Henan, of which 75 are summer migratory birds. This protected area is like a bird's paradise and is located at the junction of Dongzhai and Lingshan Town, Luoshan County, Xinyang. Among them, the white-crowned long-tailed pheasant and the crested ibis, two national first-class protected animals, aroused my great interest.

It just so happened that the photography group was about to start a bird-shooting tour in Dongzhai, and I signed up without hesitation. On April 10th, after a long drive of nearly 9 hours, we finally arrived in Dongzhai. On April 11, I got up at 4 o'clock in the morning and arrived at Bird Point at 5:30. The setting is breathtakingly beautiful.

Throughout the morning, the performance of the crested ibis and egrets was eye-catching. In the afternoon, we came to the No. 1 shed, expecting to capture the white-crowned pheasant. However, after an afternoon of waiting, we didn't even see the shadow of the white-crowned pheasant, and we were really unlucky.

On April 12th, we continued to wait for the appearance of the white-crowned long-tailed pheasant in shed 1. At 6:52 a.m., a male white-crowned pheasant gracefully appeared, and I was amazed by its beauty! It is really appropriate to describe it as "natural beauty is difficult to give up, and Liugong Fandel has no color". The sound of the shutter in the studio is one after another, recording this amazing moment. At 7 o'clock, the female pheasant came from the grass, and although she did not have the flamboyance of the male, she was elegant and extraordinary. The upturned posture of her tail feathers, as if she was wearing a miniskirt, made me fall in love with it.
