Is food delivery a good job with free time, high income, and decentness?

I have delivered takeaways, delivered for more than half a year, at that time my daughter was just born, and encountered the industry recession, the company laid off employees, and then I graduated from a prestigious school, to deliver takeaways.

I was doing flash delivery, and it was an unforgettable experience, at 12 o'clock in the middle of the night, I was still struggling at the door of the hotel, just to take an extra order.

The most afraid of sending is the kind of new community that has just been built, because the road has not been repaired, and a big pit may suddenly appear in front of you while walking, or an uncovered sewer.

I once flipped over with a car and cracked my seventh rib on my right side.

How can there be someone around to help, climb up by yourself, drag the electric car up little by little, go to the store to buy a bottle of ice dew, wash the wound on your left hand, fortunately the takeaway is fine, continue to deliver the takeaway to the customer.

I didn't even dare to mention it when I went home.

The next day, I took the time to take a photo with the money left in the medical insurance card, and saw that it was only a bone crack instead of a fracture, so I was relieved, bought some red medicine to eat, and continued to deliver takeaways.

One day it was raining heavily, and I wanted to call it a day early and go home, but the store added a red envelope of 5 yuan, and I took it.

As a result, he was dumbfounded when he went to that community, his building was in the innermost part of the community, and the waterlogged road was more than 200 meters, and it was no longer past the calf.

Call the customer, and the customer's ** will be turned off.

There is no way to wade through the water to go inside, and I am tempting as I walk, for fear of stepping on the pit and falling.

I finally got to the building and found that the whole building was almost unoccupied, and the elevator was not opened, and then I climbed to the 21st floor and knocked on the door for a long time.

A young woman opened the door with an impatient face, snatched the takeaway before I could open my mouth, and slammed the door shut.

That day, I was like a chicken in soup for 5 yuan.

Another time, at 11 p.m., I went to an upscale neighborhood to deliver takeaways.

The security guard said that he would not open the electronic door of the community for me, so I could only whisper and ask the customer to go downstairs to get it, and the female customer was a hundred reluctant, and finally came down.

Then when we met, the client turned out to be my classmate from elementary school, and she gave me a roll of the eyes, and we both recognized each other, but neither of us spoke.

So, you ask is it shameful to deliver food?

In fact, if you can ask this question, it already shows that food delivery is not a decent job.

But. We have been singing the praises of delivery workers, empathizing with them, believing that they earn the cleanest money and live with hard work to support themselves and their families.

Why? Because our hearts are afraid.

I'm afraid that today's work will be precarious, and I hope that there will be a way out at that time, to deliver a takeaway, so that it will not be on the streets, and my family will starve and suffer with me.

Are food delivery pay high?

In fact, it is not high, in 2015, our ordinary delivery workers could get more than 2,000, far from the monthly income of 8,000 as stated on the Internet.

The salary of a hotel waiter is stronger than that of food delivery, and food delivery is only the occupation that requires the least skill and has the least threshold.

My suggestion is:

Even if there are other livelihoods, don't go to food delivery.

Do a good job in your own industry, learn the skills you should learn well, and don't use food delivery as a means to guarantee your life.

The income of this industry is disproportionate to the labor effort.

I don't deny that in core cities like Beijing and Shanghai, there are people who make a fortune by delivering food, but there are too few of them, and more of them are like gimmicks.

They always give you hope, but not the probability of achieving it.

Wake up. It was an unforgettable experience.
