Beirut, 26 Feb (Xinhua) -- Lebanese sources told Xinhua reporters on 26 February that Israel launched attacks on many places in eastern and southern Lebanon on the same day, killing three members of the Lebanese Allah Party and injuring many other civilians.
Two Allah members were killed in Israeli attacks on the Baalbek area in eastern Lebanon and one Allah member was killed in Israeli attacks on the Tyre region in southern Lebanon, the source said. Clashes between Allah and Israel have killed 317 people in Lebanon, including 215 members of Allah.
In response to the Israeli attack, Allah fired 60 rockets at the Israeli-occupied Golan Heights, according to the Lebanese Allah-owned Lighthouse TV 26**. Earlier in the day, Allah also shot down an Israeli drone with a surface-to-air missile.
Since the outbreak of a new round of the Palestinian-Israeli conflict in October 2023, the Lebanese Allah Party has shown solidarity with the Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) by its militant groups firing rockets and artillery shells at Israeli positions, while the Israeli army has also used air strikes and artillery shelling.
