In the consulting industry, you often face a tangled dilemma: should you work part-time or find a partner to work together? It's like sailing in the middle of a sea, and it's hard to choose the right course. However, no matter which path you choose, the key is your own strength and a clear plan. Only with sufficient strength can you stabilize the course in the wind and waves, and a clear plan is the compass to guide you to the other side of success. Therefore, before deciding whether to work part-time or find a partner, you need to deeply analyze your strengths and needs, and develop a strategic plan that suits your situation. In this way, you will be able to ride the waves of the consulting industry and reach the other side of success.
This question has always been different for me, and there will be different answers at different stages of work.
Today, I am honored to be able to share with you my experience of work. During this journey, I have learned a lot of valuable experiences and gained a lot of valuable insights. In my opinion, work is not just a duty, but also a way of life and a process of growth. In my work, I have not only improved my professional skills, but also learned how to communicate, collaborate and solve problems with others. These abilities are not only useful at work, but they are equally important in life. At the same time, I also learned that no matter what industry I am in, I need to have a persistent learning attitude and the courage to face challenges. I believe that these experiences will also inspire everyone's work and life.
In the vast world of the intermediary industry, I have worked hard for nearly 30 years, and there is still half a year to draw a successful end. Along the way, I have never wavered in my love for my profession. Thirty years ago, I gave up a job in the banking system assigned by the state and chose to work as an intermediary in the firm. At that time, I was still a member of the National Business Organization. Time flies, time flies, and I have transformed from a member of the system to a practitioner on the road of practice.
Stemming from my deep love for my profession, I am like a hard-working bee every year, picking the nectar of wisdom in the busy work at the beginning of the year, and extracting the true meaning of life in various entanglements in the middle of the year. At the end of the year, various exams were like harsh winter tests, in which I sharpened myself and kept improving. Year after year, while accumulating work experience, I am also like a big tree, deeply rooted in the soil of professional knowledge, and constantly extending my branches and leaves to a broader professional field.
Back in the 20-year-old era, there was a surge in demand for consulting, but clients didn't really pay for it, but saw it as a value-added service.
Today, 20 years later, the consulting industry has finally ushered in the spring of their careers. I am increasingly feeling the pulse of the consulting market, full of life like a newborn baby. While opening up the market territory, it has become urgent to cultivate internal strength. I always feel that time is running, and I am always chasing, except for daily work, the only thought in my mind is how to squeeze more study time out of my busy schedule.
As the demand for consulting continued to rise, I couldn't help but wonder if we needed to bring in fresh blood to breathe new life into our team.
In the workplace, I have always been in contact with people from all walks of life with a keen heart, and I have continuously accumulated network resources. I don't see it as a necessary option to find a part-time job or partner. I am a firm believer in the power of the Law of Attraction, and that if we work hard, the outcomes and opportunities we want will naturally emerge. Therefore, it is important to tap your own potential, continuous learning and growth.
Here are some of the skills you need to work in these directions:
First of all, you need to have a wealth of knowledge and information to keep your database up to date. In this information-first era, consultants need to have the ability to quickly obtain, organize, and analyze information to provide more valuable consulting services.
Secondly, you need to have good communication skills and presentation skills. Consulting work requires in-depth communication and communication with customers, and it is necessary to be able to express their views and suggestions clearly and accurately, and at the same time to be able to listen to the demands and opinions of customers.
In addition, you need to have a flexible mindset and a spirit of innovation. Consulting requires the constant search for new solutions and ideas, the ability to respond flexibly to complex problems and challenges, and the courage to come up with unique insights and innovative solutions.
Finally, you will also need to have a strong sense of responsibility and team spirit. Consulting needs to be customer-centric, providing the best possible service to clients, while also working closely with team members to complete the task.
In short, consultants need to have comprehensive qualities and abilities, and constantly learn and improve their professional level in order to be invincible in this highly competitive industry. Here are nine points for you to think about:
1. Ability to conduct interviews and sampling in relevant central groups;
2. Problem solving, decision-making and planning;
3. Ability to innovate and create;
4. Ability to communicate, feedback and deal with interpersonal relationships;
5. Strategy formulation and implementation;
6. Insist on action, the unity of knowledge and action;
7. Adhere to the connection between daily awakening and planning;
8. Guidance and review;
9. Problem solving and negotiation skills.
That's all for today, and I look forward to your feedback and learnings as we continue to communicate tomorrow.
