Safety is the lamp, lighting the way of life, and safety is closely related to our daily life. In recent years, safety theme education has been vigorously carried out across the country to improve citizens' awareness of prevention and self-protection. In order to enhance the safety awareness of college students and conduct relevant research on safety education in various places, on February 6, 2024, the science and technology empowerment of the School of Computer Science and Technology of Qufu Normal University, and the social practice team of Qixin Zhenxiang came to Feicheng City, Tai'an City to carry out safety education related research under the guidance of teacher Ji Yuchao.
The practice team members conducted an in-depth investigation on the construction of the city's safety education experience hall. During this process, the practice team members had a detailed understanding of the various functional areas of the experience hall, including fire escape, traffic safety, first aid knowledge, natural disaster protection, network security, etc. Each functional area is equipped with relevant practical operations, such as simulated wind, rain, thunder and lightning in the natural disaster experience area, artificial respiration and Heimlich first aid practice in the first aid knowledge area, and fire escape area is also equipped with different fire extinguishers to adapt to the knowledge explanation and operation of different occasions. The immersive experience made the people who came to experience it highly praised, and they said that this is a warm, in-depth and effective livelihood project.
In addition, there is also a safety knowledge competition area in the museum, and many people choose to come and PK each other after visiting each exhibition area. This method is also an important measure to enhance people's prevention capabilities, so that everyone can deeply understand safety knowledge, master safety skills, and form a good atmosphere for people to pay attention to safety and participate in safety in an intuitive and vivid educational experience. Through the investigation of the opinions of some experiencers, the practice team members also learned that people attach importance to safety education and respond positively, and spoke highly of the establishment of the safety education experience hall.
At the same time, there are also some deficiencies in the construction of some facilities in the experience hall, such as the relevant safety simulation of the traffic safety zone is not perfect, the individual safety drill operations are not open to the public, and the theme is not comprehensive. In this regard, the development of safety education still needs to be further strengthened.
This survey not only allowed the practice team members to understand the importance of safety education in various places, but also experienced the importance of mastering disaster prevention and handling skills. The practice team members believe that in the future, we will build a public security system with global coverage and participation of the whole people more quickly, so as to better protect the personal safety of citizens and build a harmonious society.
