Jinan, Feb. 9 (Xinhua) -- Visiting the "fifth way" of Dengtai Mountain -- following the power workers to patrol the line.
Xinhua News Agency reporter Chen Guofeng.
Everyone steps on my footprints, and then walks! On the eve of the Spring Festival, the mountains and forests at the eastern foot of Taishan were covered with snow, and four power line workers stepped forward in the snow, moving deep and shallow to the mountain. Zhang Aiguo, the leader, tried the road under his feet and told the three young workers behind him to pay attention to safety.
This is a road to the gate of heaven in Mount Tai, but it is little known to outsiders. There are four roads for tourists to climb Mount Tai, namely the Red Gate Route, the Tianwai Village Route, the Taohuayu Route and the East Royal Road. The power workers took a "hidden road" - a 35,000-volt antenna patrol road, a patrol road that came out on foot for 41 years.
In the early 80s of the last century, there was only one 10 thousand volt line on Mount Tai to supply power to the lighting equipment. With the growth of the number of tourists in Mount Tai, there is an urgent need to build a tourist ropeway, and there is an urgent need to build a 35,000-volt transmission line from the foot of the mountain to the top of the mountain. However, the erected line can not affect the natural landscape, and the road risk has become the way of the line.
In 1983, the 35,000-volt Zhongtianmen substation with an altitude of 847 meters was officially put into operation, becoming the highest substation in Shandong Province, and the transmission line extended all the way up from the bottom of the mountain through the 91 base pole tower. Since Taishan has a medium antenna, there has been a lineman. They patrolled the line day after day, year after year, and walked out of the "fifth road" of Mount Tai.
Approaching the Spring Festival, the reporter followed the State Grid Shandong Tai'an Power Supply Company Transmission and Inspection Center Transmission and Inspection Center to set foot on this patrol line. "Usually once a month, special days to encrypt the frequency, after the Spring Festival will be a lot of tourists to pray on the mountain, so before the festival to inspect once to rest assured. Squad leader Zhang Aiguo said.
Driving from the power transmission and inspection center to Luohan Ya Village at the foot of Mount Tai, there is no way forward. The inspection vehicle was parked on the side of the road, and everyone walked to the climbing point with the patrol toolbox.
Looking up at the hillside in front of him, the reporter couldn't help but ask: The mountain is snowy, is there a road? Zhang Aiguo said with a smile, this trail cannot be regarded as a road in the strict sense, and it comes and goes - it is fine in spring, but it will be covered with weeds and vines in summer; In autumn, the road "crawls" out of the grass and "burrows" into the fallen leaves; As soon as it snows in winter, all traces are "erased" again.
The road to patrol the line after the snow is no longer recognizable, and in the eyes of reporters, it can be described as frightening. But Zhang Aiguo flashed and moved with ease. He has been on this road for 32 years, and with his accumulated experience, he can find exactly where it is going.
The road is at the foot of **, and it is even more in his heart. Ma Wenchen, a young lineman who traveled with him, is Zhang Aiguo's apprentice, and he has been dealing with this road for 11 years.
How hard is this path? Zhang Aiguo crossed his fingers and said a string of numbers: the distance from the foot of Mount Tai to the highest point in a straight line is less than 8 kilometers, but the mountain is undulating, and the height rises by more than 100 meters every time it extends forward for one kilometer. To complete this road, you need to pass through 35 woods and bushes, 46 steep slopes of more than 30 degrees, and countless ridges, deep ravines, and bluestone hills, and a round trip of at least 5 hours.
Every time they arrive at a base tower, they must carefully check whether the wire has potential safety hazards, whether the grounding screw is loose, whether the insulator is damaged, and whether the grounding of the lightning cable is intact. When patrolling the line, Zhang Aiguo always brought a telescope to observe the situation on the top of the tower. But Ma Wenchen prefers to fly drones.
More than an hour later, the line patrol workers came to a flat open space in front of Tower 75. Zhang Aiguo handed the telescope to the youngest Li Chenxu and taught her to identify the operating status of each component of the tower. In the eyes of this young girl, who has only been on the job for less than two years, everything is very new.
I like to go outdoors to patrol the line, with the blue sky above my head and the earth under my feet, determined to be a 'mountain picker' of Taishan Electric Power in the new era. Li Chenxu is the first female employee of Tai'an Power Supply Company to choose the first stop of her work in the power transmission operation inspection center, and now she is the person in charge of the transmission intelligent inspection class monitoring center.
Leave the rest of the lines to the drone. The road was slippery after the snow, and for safety, the group decided not to go any higher. Ma Wenchen skillfully flew the drone, and every section of the line and every base tower had a panoramic view. It didn't take long for the drone to complete the patrol work and take photos of the key parts of each base tower.
Today's line patrols are vastly different from those of the past. Ma Wenchen said that they use drones, artificial intelligence and other technologies to realize visual monitoring equipment instead of manual inspection of transmission channels, and drones to replace manual inspection of lines.
When the patrol work was completed and returned to the inspection car, the sun had disappeared on the west side of Mount Tai, and Mount Tai was flooded with lights. (ENDS).
