Nine people are alternative to the Long March, and the founding generals are in notes.
Li Zhongquan's Family's Participation in the Long March During the Red Army's Long March, it is rare for a family of men, women, and children to participate in the Long March. Li Zhongquan's family, including his father, mother and eight children, a total of nine people, all followed the Red Army on the road of the Long March.
In the Spring Festival of 1937, only the four brothers and sisters gathered at the foot of the Yan'an Pagoda Mountain. That year, Li Zhongquan was 22 years old, the fourth brother Li Zhongbai was 18 years old, the fifth brother Li Zhongheng was 15 years old, and the younger sister Li Zhongqiu was only 9 years old, and she was already a member of the Little Red Army.
Our family was forced to embark on the Long March. Li Zhongquan was born in a poor peasant family in Shijiaba, Beipai River, Daxian County, Sichuan Province.
The family only had a few acres of thin fields, and the food they laid was only enough to eat until spring, and my father was forced to go out to do hard labor, and he still could not support the family. Later, my father and elder brother had to carry grain over the mountains to the county seat 120 miles away to exchange salt and earn some money to support their family.
Every time I came back from the mountains, my father and brother's backs were grinding into bloody flesh and blood......Even so, a few children who are not very sensible shout that they are hungry every day. Mother took them with her and ate all the wild herbs and weeds in the field.
Once, the whole family ate a wild vegetable called Laowa garlic, which tasted very fragrant but was poisonous, and after eating it, the whole family vomited and diarrhea, so anxious that the mother hugged them and cried.
The youngest sister died of hunger and disease. Li Zhongquan recalled that experience, with mixed feelings: "My family was poor and couldn't afford to pay the tuition fees of the foreign school, so I was sent to a private school.
When I was 12 years old, I didn't want to go to private school, so I secretly took more than 20 copper plates saved by my parents and ran to Luojiangkou Town, a hundred miles away from home, fantasizing about finding a home there that could help me go to school. ”
In short, the Long March of Li Zhongquan and his family was full of hardships and hardships, but they still firmly followed the Red Army on the road of revolution.
Lee Zhongquan, an ordinary and great name, his parents pinned high hopes on him. However, his path to education was not smooth. More than 20 copper plates, all he could pay for his tuition, but he didn't find a chance there, and eventually had to go home.
His mother didn't reproach him, but silently wept with him. In 1928, Li Zhongquan finally entered the fifth high school in Daxian County, he studied very hard, won the first place in every exam, and was rewarded with exemption from tuition.
In school, he was exposed not only to the culture, but also to the latest ideas. In school, General Zhang Aiping was his teacher and gave him Lenin's "On Two Strategies" and "Historical Materialism", which played an important role in his ideological enlightenment.
Two years later, he was admitted to Daxian Middle School with the first score in the county. This was an amazing thing at the time. The poor villagers used a slider to carry Li Zhongquan back to the village and made a big circle around the village.
He took part in the students' patriotic actions and joined the "Great Anti-Imperialist and Pro-Soviet League" and actively organized activities. With the cooperation of the guerrillas in eastern Sichuan, he established a base in this area.
Li Zhongquan returned to his hometown, mobilized the masses, organized peasant associations, fought local tyrants, and divided the land. At that time, this was the white zone, and the Kuomintang spread rumors that the Red Army was "blue-faced and fanged, communist wives, killing people and setting fires" ......Li Zhongquan appeared to say that the Red Army is a team of the poor, and the Communist Party is the party that leads the poor to turn over, so don't believe those rumors!
Under his leadership, the whole family became the backbone of this struggle. My father rushed to the front line of the struggle, and fought face-to-face with those local tyrants and inferior gentry, "the whole family of old and young went into battle, and the poor peasants had to turn over and .......""The peasant associations were formed, the Soviet power was established, and the poor people, who had suffered so much, had their own power, the land that they had longed for for generations.
Li Zhongquan's eldest brother, Li Zhongpan, was elected chairman of the township soviet, and his fifth sister, Li Zhongzhen, was elected women's chairman. The struggles in the Tong, Nan, Ba and Da regions were very brutal and often in a state of see-saw.
As soon as the Red Army withdrew, the White Army immediately came over and carried out a frenzied revenge. For a red family like Li Zhongquan, he is even more ruthless, and he must be killed.
Therefore, there was only one way for the whole family to move with the team. When the Red Army withdrew, Li Zhongquan's eldest brother led the Red Guards to fight with the Red Army, the second brother Li Zhongchi and the fourth brother Li Zhongbai raised food for the Red Army, the fifth sister led the women's team to rescue the wounded for the Red Army, and his parents also abandoned everything at home and took their younger siblings to the Red Army.
In April 1934, when counterattacking the Kuomintang's "six-way siege" in the Sichuan-Shaanxi Soviet District, when Li Zhongquan's unit passed through Maoyu Town in the north of Tongjiang County, he suddenly saw a person on the side of the road, very similar to his mother.
Ran over and looked, it was really a mother! Li Zhongquan was ecstatic and hugged his mother. Li Zhongquan saw his mother, but he did not see his father. He wanted to ask but didn't dare to ask, but from his mother's expression, he could see that his mother had something to say.
It turned out that after their hometown was occupied by the white bandits, they followed the Red Army guerrillas to Tongjiang. It was the second brother who told him about his father's sacrifice - when his father was going up the mountain to chop wood, a Red Army correspondent ran up the mountain, and several white soldiers were chasing after him, and his father put the communicator's hat on his head and told the correspondent to run quickly.
When the White Army caught up, my father took up his scythe and fought the enemy desperately, killing two enemy soldiers in the fight, and he himself was seriously wounded, and he ......died after crawling homeThe mother didn't say it because she was afraid that she would be distracted, but Li Zhongquan felt that he should still go to see his father who had sacrificed.
He and his second brother ran all night on a rugged mountain road and found a place to bury their father.
Li Zhongquan led the team over the snow-capped mountains and arrived at Baoxing County, where he found that his mother had also come here with his younger brothers Zhongqiu, Zhongbai and Zhongheng. His mother told him that three people had died in their family along the Long March, including his second brother Li Zhongchi and sister Li Zhongzhen.
Li Zhongquan's heart is painful, he can't solve any problems for his mother, and he can't comfort his mother. In the end, he decided to leave the horse with his mother and younger siblings and continue the long march.
