In the past, many employees of China Radio and Television complained to me about the low salary, not the average low, but a little lower than expected.
But at the same time, another wave of employees told me that it was not so low, and it was basically the same as the employees of the three major operators.
In the end, who is right, it seems to have become a Rashomon incident.
Then I conducted a small investigation and found that they seemed to be right.
At present, the income of employees of radio and television companies in different provinces and cities varies greatly!
And the main difference is that
Companies that still rely on traditional cable TV business, employee incomes are generally very low, 3-50,000 yuan a year, and some even can't pay salaries, which is not a lie.
Radio and television operators that have transformed into ICT service providers are relatively much more nourishing, with an average annual income of 100,000-150,000 yuan per employee, which is on the same level as the three major operators.
We can see from the information in the open market that the ICT business of companies in some provinces of China Radio and Television has indeed done a remarkable job, and there are often large orders of 100 million yuan, and the ICT business of these companies may already be several times the income of traditional business, and the income of employees in such provinces will naturally not be bad.
But if it is those provinces that stick to the cable TV business and have no willingness or opportunity to transform and develop, with the rapid shrinkage of the cable TV business, life is not as good as a year, and in this case, the huge cost of 5G operation has been increased, which is another piece of firewood on the camel, and the life can be imagined.
Therefore, when we analyze China Radio and Television, we cannot use the same methods as analyzing China Mobile, China Telecom, and China Unicom.
Because although there are also internal differentiations within China Mobile, China Telecom, and China Unicom, the headquarters can be unified and controlled, and the gap between the rich and the poor among employees will not be very large.
But China Radio and Television is still fragmented to a certain extent, some people are so rich that they can't pay their salaries, which is naturally the choice of the market, but for managers, how to make this "fragmented" enterprise can form a joint force, this may be a long-term problem.
