Recently, some people reported through the "Mass Studio" in Zhejiang that a fire broke out in the Jinjian Weaving Factory in Xinshi Town, Deqing County, Huzhou City on the evening of January 4. On the second day of the fire, the factory continued to produce without stopping work for rectification, raising concerns about the safety of the factory's surroundings. "Is safety really guaranteed to start so soon? ”
On the afternoon of January 9, the reporter rushed to the Jinjian Weaving Factory to understand the situation on the spot. The factory is located in Pengjiadou Village, Yongxing Village, Xinshi Town, and is less than 100 meters away from farmland and farmhouses. Looking at the factory entrance, you can see the factory building made of floor slabs and some of the goods piled up next to the gate.

Walking more than 10 meters along the village road through the factory gate, you can see the charred wreckage of the house, and all that remains inside the factory is the black wooden frame, the fallen tiles and the inner core of the yarn, which should have been wound and burned. In contrast to the ruins, there are indeed people and machines operating in the factory building more than a meter away from the windows of the factory.

According to the relevant personnel of the Yongxing Village Committee, Jinjian Weaving Factory has been in the village for about ten years, and its predecessor was a cement factory. **Previously, there were two enterprises in the factory where Jinjian was located, namely the Jinjian weaving factory for the production of scarf fabrics and the pulp drying factory for yarn processing. On the night of the 4th, it was the building where the pulp drying factory was located that caught fire, and the Jinjian Weaving Factory was basically unaffected.
Regarding the situation reported by netizens that "the factory was still producing the next day after it caught fire", the reporter confirmed from the local villagers, who also expressed concern about the safety around the factory. "The factory's products can't be sold out in time, and the inventory and raw materials are piled up in the factory, so I'm afraid that there will be problems one day," said villager Lao Yao.
With everyone's doubts, the reporter contacted the Deqing County Fire Rescue Brigade of the Huzhou Fire Detachment. Wang Yanping, a cadre of the brigade, told reporters that the Deqing County Fire and Rescue Brigade had inspected the Jinjian Weaving Factory and found that it did have problems such as illegal construction and indiscriminate stacking. At present, the fire department is communicating with the local comprehensive law enforcement bureau to carry out joint law enforcement and identify illegal buildings. After the determination is completed, the enterprise will be ordered to rectify immediately.
Regarding the question raised by netizens about "why the factory is still in production", Wang Yanping explained that considering the large losses caused by the comprehensive shutdown of the factory, the fire department has stopped production and rectified the area where the fire occurred and the key areas involved nearby, and other non-key areas can be safely developed.
The fire department said that at present, the specific cause of the fire is still under investigation, and Zhejiang ** reporters will continue to track it.
