The year 2023 that has just passed is a busy and fruitful year for Long Luying. At the beginning of the year, the Wushui Yuntai Tourism Commodity Development Workshop in Shibing County, Guizhou Province, which she founded, was awarded the national "Typical Case of Intangible Cultural Heritage Workshop"; In October, as a women's representative, she went to Beijing with the Guizhou women's delegation to attend the 13th National Congress of Chinese Women. In December, she appeared as the representative of "the most beautiful Guizhou embroidery" at the Guizhou Provincial Women's Characteristic Handicraft Industry Splendid Plan Work Promotion Conference.

Born in 1968 in Longtang Village, Shuangjing Town, Shibing County, Long Luying, like most local youths, chose to work in Guangzhou after graduating from junior high school. After living in a different place for more than ten years, she only wanted to return to her hometown to start a business. As a Miao person, she learned Miao embroidery skills with her mother since she was a child, and the exquisite techniques of broken thread embroidery, yarn embroidery, and double-sided embroidery have long been deeply rooted in her genes, and those exquisite embroidery pieces and costumes have also brought her inspiration.
Long Luying decided to try to make Miao embroidery products for sale. However, starting a business is always tough, especially since it was 2006. The company started with only 8 employees, and started their own Miao embroidery road from a small workshop. Embroidered ties, Miao costumes, tea ceremony decorations, ......Orders are gradually increasing, products are becoming more and more diverse, and Wushui Yuntai Company is also on the right track step by step.

As a Miao handmade embroidery production enterprise, it is not easy to take the road of industrialization, and it has paid a lot of hardships and efforts. I deeply realize that our enterprise has grown from a small workshop to a large enterprise, mainly thanks to the good policies of the party and the state, and the implementation of the splendid plan of the Guizhou Women's Federation in the past ten years. Later, when recalling the development process from entrepreneurship to the present, Long Luying was full of emotion. For her, the changes in the past 10 years have been particularly drastic, not only the rapid development of the company, but also the great changes in the entire industry.
The most profound changes are conceptual, and the most intuitive changes fall on technology.

As a provincial intangible cultural heritage inheritor, Long Luying used to be particularly persistent in handicrafts, but the changes in the outside world invisibly urged her to change her thinking as soon as possible. In 2020, under the influence of the epidemic, her thinking changed even more. That year, when she returned from the inspection in Zhejiang, she immediately decided to invest a lot of money to build the first phase of digital and intelligent Miao embroidery production line. In her view, if you want to let China's intangible cultural heritage Miao embroidery go out and make the people of Miao Township rich, it is necessary to take a sustainable industrial road, industrialization means the introduction of industry, handicraft is valuable, can be used for high-end market demand, but the mass market can not be lost, constantly enrich the product category, explore more possibilities of Miao embroidery and modern life, in order to make the long-term development of enterprises.
Larger businesses mean more jobs for more people. To this end, with the support of the provincial, state and county women's federations, Long Luying implemented splendid training on the basis of product orders to improve women's Miao embroidery production and processing skills. Up to now, Wushui Yuntai Company has trained a total of 5,140 people, and more than 1,500 people have been employed and increased their income through the Miao embroidery industry.
Over the years, Long Luying has also been enthusiastic about public welfare. In the past two years, she has donated a total of 3250,000 yuan, the Wushui Yuntai Miao Embroidery Workshop founded by him will take out 150,000 yuan as a dividend for rural revitalization every year, and issue workshop dividends to more than 150 households with registered cards.

Since the implementation of the "Splendid Project" in 2013, Long Luying has been deeply involved in the related projects of this project. "In the past, the handicraft industry was small in scale and the problem of low production efficiency was more prominent. The 'Splendid Plan' has built a platform for us, which has broadened our horizons and made us know that we must combine nationality and fashion, in line with the law of market-oriented development, in order to truly form a sustainable whole industrial chain." Long Luying said that under the continuous drive of the "Splendid Plan", she is more determined to combine modern and traditional, national and fashionable, and manual and machine.
In 2016, Long Luying's son Long Yu, who graduated from Beijing Institute of Technology, returned to his hometown and co-operated Wushui Yuntai Company with his mother, injecting young vitality into the company, which had been stirring in the market for 10 years. The addition of her son made Long Luying feel another way of inheritance. It is the sincere embrace of the digital age and the traditional handicraft industry, and the connection point between the industrialization of Miao embroidery and the broad market. Today, Wushui Yuntai Company has become one of the few enterprises in Guizhou on the Miao embroidery regulations, and Long Luying's exploration of the Miao embroidery industry has not yet reached the end.
